Here is a sheet on the Encoder. Mine did not come with a temperature sensor in it, but I think they
do have one with that option as well. Next time I will get it with it. Not sure why it is not automatically
added. Hope this helps someone.
The Encoder was purchased separately. It took weeks to understand them and get the correct one. At first I was
trying to explain to them I wanted to use the encoder from the ME1115 motors. But for some reason they insisted I
use their encoder. At some point I will try it anyway, just because...
I have a ND 721200B Far driver that is using an Encoder type sensor. NJD Y2915 to be specific.
The wiring harness is different from the Fardrivers I have seen here. I attached some photo's.
The wiring diagram is a little vague at best. I have been waiting for a response for the factory to
make...
Das Double, I am surprised that no one has answered you with help for this controller.
I have not programed the Mobipus controllers but have a lot of time on the Sevcon Gen4's
and the Curtis controllers. Both are currently being tested and raced in our XE4.
Our web site is www.xemx1.com or see...
I have been using the 18650 VTC6 Batteries without BMS for a while now.
I had some made and some I made. 4p20s 36v. 2 of these in series gives 72V
and 5 in Parallel gives me 30 min of run time in an MX bike. Just make sure
your controller has a shut off before it get to the lower threshold and...
Darseygodwin, How is it going. Are you still around and working on your Sevcon Bike Project?
Are you still working on it or did you finish it?
I am almost finished with my Bike after a couple years of engineering. Still not
perfect, but moving along. Designed for a 10 sec Battery swap, and all...
Darsey,
Yes, I am using the ME1114 motor platform and the Sevcon Gen 4 size 6 to get what I need done.
At this point I could give others with the same motor/controller number and setting to get them close.
But as I get more into this, ever setup is slightly different. So to be a perfectly...
Darsey,
Thanks for the information. I have all the shielding grounded but to the same spot on the chassis.
I will repossession it to another ground spot. Makes complete sense that they should be separate and the wires
apart from each other as well. I have a scope but haven't had it out in...
Is any one still active on this thread??
I am trying to do a similar project with a Me1114 motor Sevcon Gen 4 size 6 controller
Learning how to this from scratch is not for the faint heartted. Getting no help from Sevcon either.
I try one thing at a time and then re save the dcf file, just to go...
