Cargo bike has a custom headlight mount protruding from the base of the cargo platform.
One side is for clamping a handlebar mounted battery light, other side has a threaded hole tapped into a cap on the tube.
I only have the DC lamp connected now but this photo shows both:
Yeah, B&M have two different DC version of the Toplight.
One is designed for 6VDC only
The other is wide range 6-60VDC
Peter White seems to be the only person distributing the second, wide input range version.
I ended up just getting a cheap bar mounted rocker switch which I think was originally designed for motorcycles.
Pretty junky and not waterproof as advertised but $7 seems reasonable for the experiment.
I'd eventually love to 3-D print a handlebar mount then insert a sealed switch.

I also forgot to mention that I have zeroed out the PAS input a couple times and noticed that the zeroing out doesn't seem to be consistent with crank orientation. During unloaded zeroing, rotating left pedal forward vs right pedal forward gives me ~0.1V difference which seems like quite a bit...
I am also having significant issues with my new eBike using the Sempu BB.
I noticed similar problems where I am occasionally getting negative Human Watt values. It starts out small at -5W, -40W, -150W and if I stop pedaling it will reset back to zero and when I start spinning again the values...
Yesterday I finished up retrofitting my Cyclefab CycleTruck (originally a Kona Smoke) with a Grin Tech 20" geared motor, Phaserunner, CycleAnalyst, Sempu Torque Sensing Bottom Bracket & 846WH Li-ion Battery.
Works great so far and handles better than expected at 20mph which it rarely reached...
