    Mobility scooter: 48V 1800W vs 60V 2000W?

I've got a project, basically going to be a mobility scooter using a lighter smaller frame, rider around 300 pounds. Don't need much speed, rarely going to be over walking pace; but I want long run times and torque for the times they want to go through grass in their back yard or city parks...

"Monster Board" High power 4X4 board with ATV tires

First, your board is amazing! Second, I've got a bike/scooter project coming up that is going to need jack shaft for gear reduction, and I am still in the learning phase, so please forgive me; Why do a belt for the primary and chain for the secondary?

Low speed, high torque. Need some component help.

I’ve got a project in mind, it's going to be a delta style (2 wheels in back) 3 wheeler, one wheel drive to help with turning. This will be for low speed (less than 15 mph, usually walking speed) but it needs to have plenty of torque to move around 400-425 lbs (vehicle, rider, and gear) through...

Would you mind sharing the link to the foreign seller? I took a quick browse on Alibaba but having never used it, I started getting a little confused.

    Is grass a drag?

    1. The more I think about it, I probably won't need that high of frame clearance, as said, the tires will be the main contact points anyway. 2. I plan on going with garden cart, tires for testing (whenever that finally happens [darn homeowner expenses]) as they're cheap and easy to find 3. I...

    Is grass a drag?

Thanx FlexScoot. I'll probably be sitting about 50-75% percent of the time.

    Is grass a drag?

Played around in sketchup and came up with this as a very rough design. Razor scooter front end for steering, the boxes with the colors in them are the golf disc holders.

    Is grass a drag?

I was just using it as an example of where my mind wandered to to get the most ground clearance, but thank you.

    Is grass a drag?

Thanks guys. I really can't figure out which way to go. Trucks would be the easiest mounting, would give a bit of suspension, but may not be as efficient depending on how long the grass is. The "axle-less" (don't know what else to call it) would probably be cheaper, less drag, but a bumpier...

    Is grass a drag?

I really wasn't sure where to put this.. I'm wanting to build an offroad skateboard/scooter, will have 4 wheels but may incorporate steering, similar to a golf board. It's sole purpose will be extremely low speeds in parks and act as a golf cart for disc golf. I'm still very early in the design...
