Rear shock setup help on a stealth bomber clone.

I think you need a 700lbs spring. That’s just a guess without knowing how much travel and sag you are working with. From what you say I think you need a heavier spring.

Where can I buy a replacement steel swingarm for my mountain bike?

The rear end on that bike is steel and maybe repairable. Can you show us a pic to see if it might be repairable?

Noob alert: Swap out 27.5s to 26s on my dual-susp OK?

Measure your bb height from the ground and if you are above 355mm then you should be fine going to 26 » wheels. If your bike is at 340mm or lower then I would think twice. At bottom out the pedals might touch the ground if it is a full DH bike. What bike is it?

Custom frame for the Cyclone Coaxial motor

I’m looking forward to seeing this thing built up! Let me know if you need any help setting up the suspension. This thing is going to rip!

Chrome Triple Fork for 26" bike

https://www.lairdframe.com/ Try asking a frame builder who does custom geometry and forks. Their jigs might be too short but I am assuming you want a long chrome chopper style fork? Anyways, there are a lot of custom frame builders doing this type of thing.

Custom frame for the Cyclone Coaxial motor

Nice! Those worked great! If you make 2 shock mount holes on the front shock mount you can change the progression easily and have an extra adjustment if you want to tune it. Sometimes that is a helpful tool if you don’t have a lot of different springs. If 200mm travel is your goal then I...

Custom frame for the Cyclone Coaxial motor

Amazing work. Out of curiosity what leverage ratios did you end up using? It looks like a nice rising rate linkage similar to the old Turner DH bikes.

I have a Kranked Eride kit with 3750w and the only chain, hub and cassette combo that I can get any sort of life out of is a DT Swiss ratchet hub, SRAM GX eagle cassette and a 1170 chain. I’ve tried all sorts of setups including the SRAM EX8 which was the worst one btw. The smaller cogs on the...

    Toughest, gnarliest, strongest... 26" wheel?

If you want to use Mtb parts, these are some of the options I can recommend. Cush Core will help a lot protecting the rim. https://www.cushcore.com/kit-specs/ These are very solid rims. https://www.dtswiss.com/en/products/rims/mtb/free-ride/fr-560

    Chain break blues...drivetrain upgrade options?

I’ve had the best experience so far with a 12 speed GX Eagle chain, cassette and derailleur. I broke a bunch of chains on the SRAM EX drivetrain as well as the XX1 drivetrain.

How’s your Brodie holding up? Any overheating issues when climbing for a long time? I’m considering the new Hyperdrive since they are now available for an 83mm bb. I want to put it on a longer frame to climb steeper trails without the front wheel coming up too much.

Very cool project! Nice work. The easiest way to get more progression on your bike would be with an air shock. That's great you are using Linkage for your build! I've used it a bunch over the years. What's the leverage ratio look like? On single pivot (no linkage) bikes I found that...
