If I sit on around 190 to 200 kmh, I destroy upwards of 400kms of range in about 20-25 minutes in my Tesla S. All my EVs are the same, they use expotentially more 'fuel' than an ICE does as the speed rises. I foresee speeds being lower in EVs, or more chargers closer together!

The Chinese Government doesn't give money away. Your "cost" includes 17% tax, if you export, you can claim the 17% tax back (it might be 18 now). A number of countries have similar setups, Australia for example (or did last time I was there). Mind you, the Chinese Gov does have R%D grants...

I'm 3+ years and 80,000kms in an 70S I can't see much that you would have issues with, other than end of battery life being closer. The suspension and driveline on the S is quite robust. Brake slife is very long due to regen, I hardly touch my brakes at all. Lets see, no rotten exhaust, no...
