    CODD Power

No problem. I think I'll be ordering another pack from them in the next few weeks... want to go to 72v 20ah... Oh, the price list show a 2c rate because that's what they use as default for the BMS. I'm not sure why there are two sites now... my contact there stated they were not interested in...

48v 20ah. I'm running a custom wound 10x6 similar to a 9C... 800w nominal. Controller is a 12fet infineon... 30amp. So far I haven't pulled higher than 30a continous... once my cables from Lyen get here that will get tested further. I've pulled 19.2ah without hitting lvc. I haven't had a pack...

    CODD Power

I've been using my pack from them for 6 months now... no issues at all. Started using it in December when temps were around 10f, now hitting 90f. Battery has been rock solid under hard daily use. The spare cells I had them include with my pack appeared to be real A123's. It's possible they are...

dnmun Sorry for the late response, I was out of town. I have a contact there I've been communicating with for about six months. I've made purchases from them and have helped others to do so. The company is really focused on the domestic market here... which is bigger than you could imagine...

I've had great success with them. Customer service has been great. Biggest issue is payment is a bit of a pain as they will only accept payment in RMB... easier by far for me in China but even then it's not the easiest thing to do...

How many Ebikes do you see on the road ?

In my city of 12 million I'd venture to guess that there are at least a half-million electric vehicles. Mine is among the fastest but it's my friends electric skateboard, which he commutes on, that turns heads.

Well shoot, I just typed up a big response to this and the computer ate it. Hate that. I agree with you Bob but, that is the reality of life here. Paypal and even credit cards for that matter are not accepted. Paypals fees for transfering to RMB are outrageous!China has it's own version of a...

    Upgrade path?... finished.

Finally worked on the bike last week. Got the new custom motor laced into a rim, new tube, tire, freewheel, guy doing the build was meticulous... took 2-3 hours... $28 including parts :D Rewired the bike with 2.5mm wire. Took apart Turnigy watt meter and installed it in dash with it's own...

A123 18650 cells 16s 20ah. 340x140x140mm, weighs about 12k I'm an American ex-pat teaching in China. I did a ton of searching to find this supplier and their prices are fantastic. The only issue is they will only accept payment in RMB which can be a pain in the rear. They refuse to use paypal...

Actually, they are the small 18650 A123's. The manufacturer says 20c. I've tested single cells up to 12c which is the limit of my test equipment and higher than my needs.

    A123 18650 packs.

So, with Christmas and other things until this week I'd been too busy to get the bike upgraded but... I finally got everything installed today but by the time I was done and ready to test it was nearly dark, cold(27) and VERY (25-30mph constant) windy. Testing will wait till tomorrow. So far...

    A123 18650 packs.

I agree with this completely! I think for most people a reasonably priced, small, light 5C pack would be more than adequate. Right now it seems there is only high end safe, low end safe, and mid range not so safe. The pack I have should do just fine for my needs and I need the plug and play...
