ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Morning All. Eltek Front End PCB is incoming to work with the FCI/Berg connector, of course it adds cost but makes for a neat solution. We had to make the decision to limit the AC input connector options compared to our other Eltek PCB and in our opinion for very good reasons. Doing so allowed...

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

DOH! Never seen this one before but certainly do'able I am sure with the right mating connector. Have sent the image to my electronics wizard. How much interest would there be if I could get a PCB/connector interface designed and made for these front end units? Ian Contessa

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Hey Buddy. Yeah that is a good option, currently my use for these Elteks is in custom built charge cases for the RC and UAV sectors, so I but the PSU's as and when needed, or if i see one at a good price and sit on it till needed. I have now made a quick YouTube video and uploaded it today...

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Sorry for the slow reply, I don't seem to get email prompts on posts. Thanks for the compliment buddy, it's appreciated. I have a very knowledgable electronics expert who does amazing things for me and this controller being one of them. Currently I have 7 of these controllers in stock, with...

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Hey Guys. Hope you're all safe and well? I am still using the Elteks where needed in my RC/UAV charge case builds and anotehr thank you to Remmie and the guys that made this possible. The only problem has always been the need for Revision 3+ units ideally for me so that I can permeanantly set...

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Hey Buddy. Seems I may have a single 2000W HE unit the same as you, won't respond to the fixed voltage setting, but will respond to Remi's original code and change voltage as long as you stay logged in. Has anyone had this same issue and found a fix? Cheers. Ian

Hey buddy. Yes correct, solder in a 120ohm resistor across CanH and CanL at either end of the CanBus wire as in the photo; Ian

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

You're welcome buddy. Yes correct, it just goes over the two Can lines and supposedly helps it to be more stable. Needs one at both ends of the CanBus line. Ian

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Hey buddy. Just an idea, but I don't see any termination resistors at either end of the CanBus connection and to my knowledge a 120ohm resistor is advised at either end to avoid communication problems. When I am on my PC I'll see if I can see anything missing in your code as I had fun...

ULtra Compact 1800W charger + Eltek programming

Hey buddy. They look like transistors to me, smd transistors in this case. On connecting AC within a couple of seconds you should hear a relay click and the output should ramp up to the default of 53.x volts I found. No CanBus connection is necessary I've found. Unless someone's beats me to...

Hey All. First off I'd just like to say thank you to Remmie for his great work on these units and for the sharing of his Arduino code. The latter I have enjoyed spending many hours with chopping and changing around to make different displays, such as the OLED's and SPITFT type, work with it...
