    Adding watercooling to existing motors

Is there already someone who has modified a motor like the QS138 3000W inrunner to be watercooled? The peak power people I have read is around 18KW. I'm sure it could be more. Looking at the DHX motors that are putting out alot of power out of a motor <10Kg...

    Super Capacitors for "Burst Mode"?

What about using supercaps with a hydrogen fuel cell? The fuel cell is rated at a low power but with capacitors the car can accelerate like a normal car. utmkddBFUg0

    Super Capacitors for "Burst Mode"?

The main issue is the voltage sag in li-ion batteries. Like the chart is showing supercaps have 10x the power density so there are applications that need this power. Like the tesla Roadster. It needs to have high power with low weight. Conversion efficiency of boost converters are usually 90%>

    Super Capacitors for "Burst Mode"?

There can be a way to have an advantage of the power density of supercapacitors: Have your normal Li-ion battery pack to keep it simple 100V nominal. Get a motor controller that can handle a higher voltage let's say 400V Get a super capacitor bank that that is 400V Max charged. Get some...

    18 fet controller R115?

I have messaged Lyen about this and he said: Resistor R115 needs to be at least 200ohm to work at 74v, the LVC needs to be set up higher if you don't have a BMS on your battery. When R115 is 200 Ohm the controller will still work at 36v.

    18 fet controller R115?

So you think that I don't have to change anything on the EB318 board, to make it work at 74v?

    18 fet controller R115?

Hello, I have a 18 fet lyen controller that I'm currently using at 36v nominal. I wan't to use the controller at 74v nominal, I am upgrading my battery pack to a 20s lipo. My question is if I need to change something in the controller? there is an resistor that is called R115 on the board...
