Have to agree that torque/acceleration, and top speed are not affected, only mileage. I also agree the alloy sprocket thing is complete bs. I'll be replacing the alloy sprocket with steel soon when the alloy wears out and starts messing with chain wear. Meantime maybe I'll try a titanium rear axle.

Are you referring to a rotor to hub adapter? Or a caliper to frame adapter? Sounds like you want a caliper to frame adapter to use the larger rotor in the rear. It's just a matter of spacing the caliper further off the swingarm, for which there are an endless supply of adapters. They look like this:

How much do o-ring cost in HP or mileage? I've done some internet digging and most opinions are from ICE motos where a loss of 1HP is not a big deal. Same goes for alloy vs steel sprockets. I have a hard time believing that a lighter sprocket would make any difference at all, given that it's ~8"...

I'm very curious what the battery mod would have been on the XX. I'm sure they didn't change the batteries but given the XX controller is too much for the stock BMS, they must have modified the BMS without bypassing it.

Just checked, mine is a 2021 XX, purchased November '21. It has the updated seat, brakes, etc., so I don't think they're using old stock on anyone unless they swap in the updated parts.

The XX model uses the stock X controller but definitely hacked, either through programming magic or hardware mods. According to Luna their controller mod is too much for the stock battery, so they did something there as well, also the battery range doesn't seem to differ from stock despite...
