    Trouble balancing battery

Thanks. I will be doing exactly what you said (CC to terminal voltage with no absorb ) going forward . Makes more sense.

    Trouble balancing battery

I was using an LED driver to charge it . It was set at 57.6v (14s) @570 mA per cell(total 4A) , where I would normally terminate when it reached 50mA , but I got busy and came back like OH crap ! and it read 0 A . Meaning it charged until it wouldn't absorb anymore (I assume ) .

    Trouble balancing battery

I recently bulk charged my pack to 4.1 , but got distracted and let it get down to 0 amps for about 2 hours. Is it likely that damage was done?

Capacity test: Queen Battery QB18650 2000mAh 20A high-drain cell which surprised me

Has anyone here used the QB26800 in a pack? Those look pretty awesome

Looking at building a new pack with Samsung 50E

At a constant 30 ° C , the cycle life can drop up to around 20% vs a constant 20°C , but ambient temperature in a lot of places can stay at that level for long stretches of time, so I wouldn't stress over it. If it gets to say, 45°C, I'd take a break for a while if possible.

    buying Yuasa LEV50 & LEV40 Modules

They make some of the best AGM batteries available so I would trust their quality control over most comapanies. The price is a tad steep for repurposed cells, but they test each cell to make sure it has advertised capacity. I'd buy their used stuff before anybody's "new" cells off...

Would 30 Headway 38120 cells be enough?

That's the only reason I don't use LiFe . I haven't found a US vendor that's trustworthy , decent priced, and has the range of size/power/capacity I need. They're either $10 per cell for 3ah at 10amps max or $50+ per cell for 20ah. Plus shipping of course.

Would 30 Headway 38120 cells be enough?

Have you ever seen one of these cells up close? It's believeable just due to the size of those things.

    Offroad Scooter recommendations?

As someone that rides bikes and stand up scooters, there's no freakin way I'm riding one on a 4 lane highway much less freeway at 50+ mph. The area I'm talking about is downtown ,where you rarely see past 35 miles per hour .

    Offroad Scooter recommendations?

For an urban environment with changing conditions, his creation is masterwork. There's no way you could navigate your way to work in traffic faster than you could on that.

24kW stand-up scooter with air suspension

It's very humbling to come across people that have the talent and skill I've witnessed on this forum. It's a gross understatement to say you're a very talented human being. This is like the civilain 2 wheeled Mars Rover .

matching power supply with DC charger

What I was looking at is in fact 24v , but only 5amps max, I think . Thank you for that explanation. You saved me from buying some junk that would have been a waste of money.

matching power supply with DC charger

This is probably an idiotic question.. but when using a dc balance charger that requires an ac power source, does the AC power source have to match the DC chargers output current/wattage ? For example : a 600watt 25amp max balance charger - Does the AC power source also have to be capable of...
