That's odd. I also thought there could have been a break in the connection of the wiring but I swapped out the entire motor cable harness with a brand new stretch of cable but I'm still experiencing issues. I've also wired in two different sets of bipolar sensors (S41 009A1 and SS41F) and I've...
Did anyone ever figure this out? Do the Sabvotons prefer a Unipolar hall sensor? I tried two different bipolar hall sensors so far and I've been getting "0" and "7" hall statuses (only hall status 1-6 are valid). Hopefully someone can please provide some input!
Thanks to a kind member of the ES Facebook group, I was able to get the variable ebrake to work! My issue was that the over volt setting was too low. I have a 52v battery and the over volt was set to 60v (I rounded up from 58.8). I was advised to set the Over Volt to 10V above the fully charged...
I have a Sabvoton 72150 with the latest firmware (updated via the Android App). I hooked up a thumb throttle to the regen brake connector. Then using my laptop with the v2.1 of MQCon Software I selected the Ebrake mode to "Ebrake-throttle" and set my Electric Brake Phase Current to 100amps. Save...
It's definitely not enough. Unfortunately I can't go much larger. I have the new fat bike rear end for the Vector light frames. Artur uses a 38T max with these rear ends. I was trying to figure out how to extend the bottom bracket spindle so I could run a larger toothed front crank but its not...
Hi, I really love following your build progress. You're a model for the rest of us Vector Light builders! I'm trying to figure out what derailleur cage length to buy. I'm running a 36T up front and I'm planning a 7 speed 11-32 freewheel in the rear. Was thinking about running a SRAM-x4 but I'm...
Nice work! I am in almost the exact same situation as you except I have a 2017 Reign. Did you ever consider modding the rear triangle by cutting the rear frame and chemically bonding stainless steel dropouts? How is the clearance when riding the trails?
If you are looking for a 27.5" rim, I found one made by Mavic. This thing should be very strong. I'm trying to source this rim for my own build. Good luck!
