I just received 2 packs and have not checked them out yet, I am putting them in a Sondors with a DOA Pack that originally came with similar cells (at least same capacity). First impression is good, just need to order some connectors to parallel the two packs Same seller also has some LG packs...

Isn't it as simple as weighing all the bikes at the finish line? Any bike that weighed more than say 15 lbs would be suspect and brought in for further investigation.

Very old thread indeed! Correct me if I am wrong, but I think the geared hubs are only reliable at less than 2000 watts. Aussie Jester had a failure early on and abandoned the geared hub.

I would check the Head tube size, it looks like 1" threaded, good luck finding any decent sus forks in that size.

There are sensorless ebike controllers on the market, I think Kelly Controllers sells one. They are bulky, but more robust, IMO. On the Astro motors issues, it would be nice to have another motor option for the bargain builders out.
