I dont know how it would work for vehicles but i used a 48v version of that motor and have been very happy with it so far. I used it to replace a gas engine on an outboard.
No i would never charge for something like that, ive been busy this weekend ill see if make something up soon. Unfortunately im probably not as good as some people at making guides but ill try.
so given what you said, is soldering actually the preferred way for those given they have a tab? slightly more interested now could you pm me a quote on 100-150 cells and some more information on them
motor draw will be anywhere from 1-30 amps but with so many cells in parallel i don't think i need high amp cells. I was looking at the Samsung 35E, I also email Queen Battery because i heard good things about that weird 6800mah cell they make.I also noticed they sell that Boston Power Swing...
i was looking at this one from hobby king

If i read this right i would be able to do 2 series at a time, meaning i would only have to swap leads 7 times. Basically I would take the place of...
Ok so I am planning on building my first battery pack, I haven't picked the exact cells I will be using but they will most probably be Samsung or LG's. My electric outboard motor requires around 52v so i will be going with 14s15p or something like that. I've thought about how i am going to...
Just finished this little project I have been working on. My original engine on my 1957 Johnson sea horse went bad, but I did not want to get rid of a clean classic, so I replaced the motor with a 60v BLDC Motor. I am very happy with its performance so far but it is still not quite complete. I'm...
Hello, new to the forums and I am looking for some input on a project I am wanting to do. I have an old 1957 Johnson outboard in mint condition, unfortunately the motor is on its last leg and i want to keep this nice antique in working order. I plan to add a general purpose BLDC maybe 36v-72v...
