BOB is great, but a real hassle transporting to the destination - like e-bike in general. I have to take the car or train as the battery is too large to transport on a plane. Most airliners prohibit even a ebike without a battery....

Must be an optical illusion. They are exactly the same.

My touring bike. A simple 27.5 with a bbs02 36v with 17.5A battery. Full setup for self-supported trips with food, tent etc. Very heavy, at least 35 kg's But still I was able to easily go for 115 km with 40% left to spare. Programmed level 1 to use max 100w and that was good for the flat parts...

I have had both. 2 tsdz2 have failed, so I sold them. Happy with my bafang. Cannot say I feel a big difference in handling. I almost never use the throttle, its only reserved for steep hills.

Great video. I think the problem now is my lower back. I have pain after about 60 km - so maybe a small walk after every 50 km will help.

I stopped trying to sell my high-end bbs02 converted fatbike. Most people don´t know the difference between a quality bike and a shitbike so they go for the cheapest. Bad tires, bad brakes, bad rims, heavy, and a small battery.

Dunno about miles, but I tested 2 levels on my bbs02. 5 wh/km on the lowest level (max 150w), and 7 wh/km on level 2 (max 300w). This was on a semi-hilled route with 3 km climb in it. I also see if I use the throttle, it really drains the battery, so it should be avoided for touring. My dream...

Sorry, only after pic. Bafang bbs02 with 17.5 ah battery. Works well with 11-42 cassette and narrow-wide 34 in front.

I just swapped my TSDZ2 with a bafang bbs02 v2. Cant feel much difference other than the bafang is much quieter under load. Also the bbs02 can output 950w in short moments. In Norway, both motors cost about the same so for me Bafang feels like a better choice.
