Cogging problem with QS205 and Sabvoton

I have barely ridden since it's no fun having problems, but yesterday I tried pre charging the controller with a 100 ohm resistor for a while before plugging it it, thinking if I treat the controller better it might behave better? Well it seems to have worked as it should after that. Hoping it...

Cogging problem with QS205 and Sabvoton

Yeah I'm noticing that haha Not long at all, a week maybe. Test how? I did the "hall test" in the mqcon app if that's what you mean, although I had sone problems. Had to try over again a lot with different test currents for it to finally work.

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

The backpack I have is really big and the pack even encased in a 3d printed plastic is pretty small, so the weight is really all right behind my lower back. The backpack also has really sturdy hip support straps, which I use to place practically all the load on my hips, leaving very little to my...

Cogging problem with QS205 and Sabvoton

This was one of a few questions I asked in the wrong subforum with no answer, hoping you have some input on this! I recently finished building my QS 205 V3 4T bike with an unlocked Sabvoton 72150, and I have started experiencing some cogging and "clicking". Had none of that when I had just...

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

No, you are misunderstanding what I mean by support. I am not mounting my pretty heavy battery directly to a rack attached to the seat post, of course that would be dumb. I have some understanding of physics. I will still have the battery in the backpack on my back, but it will stick up behind...

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

As it's holding up my weight + the backpack when sitting on the back edge of it just fine, it will not be a problem, it will just take off some of the weight from my back.

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

Well this is a pretty late update, but I did manage to machine new dropouts: They work very well, probably capable of supporting double the torque I have the motor produce at 80V 200A battery, 550A phase. Pretty happy with the bike, when it's working well it's about what I imagined, very fun...

    Overvolting/overamping NIU MQi+ Lite

Saw a Niu Mqi+ Lite on marketplace for pretty cheap, and even though the motor only outputs ~1kw in this config, it looks to be the exact same one used in the more powerful versions outputting 3kw, which I assume is continous output, which made me interested in buying it and pushing some more...

Not getting this forum in my search results anymore

I used to be able to google ebike related stuff and have endles-sphere come up as multiple of the search results, but now I don't get any results from here at all, even when really trying. What is going on? This is a great resource, and a lot of times google is better than the bult in search...

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

I see. Well, I think I will go with 18" as that is the smallest I want to go.

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

But wouldn't that look very off if I have a 26" bike wheel in the front (which I may have to change too though)? If you recommend smaller, then 18" might be better than 19". I know it is generally not recommended, but do you know if I could get away with having a 2.5 wide tire on a 1.6 rim if...

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

Also, what size wheel should I get? I want to get a wheel slightly smaller than a 26" bicycle wheel, but will a 19" or 18" wheel be the best match? I have heard that both are roughly equivalent to 26" bicycle wheels.

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

The battery cells are now paid, will see if I can get my hands on them this month. I got in contact with QS Motor to order the 205 V3TI laced to a rim, an unlocked Sabvoton 72150, thumb throttle for regen, display for the Sabvoton, ferrofluid, and a twist throttle with "ignition" (3 speed...

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

Yes, I found this one. I will make my dropouts based on the ones this guy made. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=97098

Will this bike work for a 16KW build?

Buying this 2014 Giant Glory 2 for $700 tomorrow. 150mm thru-axle dropouts and 26" wheels. More expensive, but definitely better than the other bikes I have considered. I will try to get in touch with someone with a CNC cutter to machine out clamping dropouts which I can bolt onto the thru-axle...
