My throttle has red black green yellow and blue. I may have wired the blue wire to the battery instead of the yellow wire. Now thing works no matter what I do. Did I fry the throttle or controller you think?

One last thing, I was reading the description on Amazon for the controller and it does come with the hall wires (but the description also says “no hall” which is confusing. Can I try hooking up the hall wires if it will help?

Got it! There was a wire before that said “must be connected” which I didn’t think I used before but I must have. I plugged that into the positive terminal and it works perfectly. Thanks everyone!

I plugged it all in but nothing happens. I can’t remember but am I supposed to connect the “theft alarm” cables together or anything for it all to work?

Thank you so much for the replies. This may be a long shot to ask but are you guys able to determine if this controller would work with my stock lcd display and on/off switch? The switch gets routed thru the display and the display connects to the stock controller through a 5 pin green connector.

And how would running in either mode benefit a beginner like me?

Replaced the battery and everything works amazing now, I couldn’t be happier! So much more power.

Again what’s strange is it died under like quarter throttle on a flat road. Never died on a hill.

Sorry to be a pain, but I guess what I'm trying to figure out is...did I get a controller too powerful even if I am able to get this battery replaced? Or if I get a new battery with the same specs should it be able to keep up? Keep in mind the only riding we do is casual around the neighborhood...

voltage sag because the controller is too powerful or battery is just bad? I just remembered the battery did this a few weeks ago when we had the stock 20amp controller in as well....

So if we rode up and down hills for miles and the bike did fine, the bike shut down randomly not even under full throttle and on a flat road, would you guess the battery is just bad vs the controller being too powerful?
