    Give up the power limit control and just set it to the max you require (mine set to 30amps on the grin 40amp controller) so the wires don't melt. It's more about what you use than what you want (everything?).

    MrBill - here is a thought ... get a resistive throttle and connect it to the aux analog input and set it to be the speed limiting control. Now your throttle, if wired backwards, will become the inverse max speed control only and slow you down at any time, although not at a light to strong rate...

    Wow plenty of reading here! Just flashed last week 3.14 from 3.12 on my CA3 and got the max speed 654 a couple of times and not once...not a big problem. I run a slim throttle (fantastic!) and current control (torque drive) instead of speed control which allows nice controllable takeoff...

    Yeah the caps need to be electrically close to the controller output FETs for them to work. Plus keeping caps across the batteries will slowly drain the battery through cap leakage and if a cap failed ... Poof! But keep thinking!

    For a hub that is so well sealed it seems counter intutive to drill holes to let water out that shouldn't be in it in the first place. I think after seeing how badly the magnets we're damaged that it may make a lot more sense to get some sealer over them to protect them better. Drilling holes...

    NOW The big concern is how far out of balance are all the cells and how well does the bms limit over voltage on a per cell group for the ten groups? May have to slow charge it for a while with something other than the four amp charger.
