    safe overvolting citycoco

There is a big variation on these scooters. My son's first was a 1000w and it did about 38kmh fully charged. The second is a 1500w and make about 58kmh. the third is also 1500W but do 45 only. All on fully charged 60v (67.2v) 20Ah battery. So I hope this scooter makes about 45kmh stock...

    safe overvolting citycoco

I have a 60v 1500W citycoco. I want to overvolt it. At stock full power the hub motor is almost cold. I have a 2000w 84v 45A controller (strange, but 84v 45A is 3780W) And I want to replace my 16s8p battery with a homebuilt 20s14p - 20s20p instead. Is this safe? going to 84v but only 2000w What...

    charge packs in parallell ?

Im asking because I dont know if its the bms or charger that cuts of at 42 volt. I think this cheap BMS only drain each cell for balancing and the charger cuts of at 42v Lets say that the first pack charge faster and reach fylly charged baut the second still need som juice so the charger doesnt...

    charge packs in parallell ?

Is it a bad idea to charge batterypacks with built-in bms in parallell? I have a lot of hoverboard-battery but only 3 hoverboard-chargers. I want to connect 2-3 packs to each charger. Is this a good or bad idea ? I know it takes a long time but 9 packs a day is good enough for me.

Problem with varying motorspeed. Please help

I need help. What's wrong. Look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBJI9c4S3U8 I have tried 3 controller with same result. This controller only works in sensored mode. I connected another wheel from an airboard and it works fine. airboard-wheel...

My Electro Ciao (Converted Vespa Ciao Moped)

Thank you for inspiring me. I just got almost everything now for my project. a ciao from early 70's, bosch 100A alternator converted to motor, controller and a lot of 18650 from airboards/hoverboards. (1000 cells) Hopefully I get around 5-6kw @ 72v. Battery is 20s10p samsung icr18650-22p. ca...

Controlling brushless hub throttle via Arduino, not spinning

I mean that if ground to arduino and the controller is not connected together the you send your pwm-output to the space or something. Its like connecting a bulb to the positive side only of a battery. It doesnt work. Always use common ground Skickat från min E5823 via Tapatalk

    ebay controller wattage ? 72v 80A is not 1000W

Great. I Hope to give so much power to the alternator so I can see where the limit is. Aternators are almost for free at the junkyard. Skickat från min E5823 via Tapatalk

    ebay controller wattage ? 72v 80A is not 1000W

So with better cooling on mosfets I can peak more continous ?

    ebay controller wattage ? 72v 80A is not 1000W

I'm going to use a sensorless controller so I dont need hallsensors. 72v is not a problem for the stator. Its the high amps that is gonna kill the alternator. But I want all that amps at 72v and dont know if the controller can manage that. I cant test it yet. Shipping from china is not fast. 4kw...

    ebay controller wattage ? 72v 80A is not 1000W

I'm looking for a controller for a new project with a car alternator converted to bldc. The problem is ohm's law and the specs of the controller. Max power is 1000w but it can handle 72v 80A. 72x80=5760. Is the controller programmed to output maximum 1000w but it can handle up to 80A at lower...

Controlling brushless hub throttle via Arduino, not spinning

Maybe a stupid answer but do you have common ground for arduino and controller? Otherwise you dont have a closed circuit. And you have to use a voltage divider to your analog output to feed the controller with max 4.1v or 4.5v or use a capacitor and max 82%pwm (analog value 209) This is just my...
