Lectric Cycles will be releasing information at Interbike about our newest e-RAD drive units that will be available in the coming months. We are already testing them and working out the kinks before they go into full production. The new HD motors will be in addition to the drive units we have...
There is a new motor coming soon, we're still working out the kinks but they will be in production in the not too distant future. Lectric Cycles will have operational drive units at Interbike (we already have them) along with a bunch of killer builds that use the existing e-RAD products we have...
The firmware is different, no screen shot will help you as the software you are familiar with (controllerST) does not give you any insight into the actual firmware itself. As for the dedicated port from the e-RAD controllers for the gear sensor, it is programmed differently than the brake...
Take a look at Lectric Cycles for the factory tools which are sold as a set(http://www.lectriccycles.com/dealer-tool-kit-for-e-rad-mid-drive/) or individually http://www.lectriccycles.com/accessories/
The gear sensor connects to a separate cable coming from the motor which was necessary to get the the system to operate seamlessly. There were no combination of parameter adjustments to the e-brake lines to get them to work as well as we believed it should. The gear sensor adds the refinement...
Well I guess its better to hear it from the horses mouth, so here it goes. Lectric Cycles is located in Tempe, AZ so we are a US based business and have a warehouse and office space/showroom you can come visit. We have formally been in business since Sep 2012. We have our batteries assembled...
Our versions already have a throttle-only mode in PAS "0" with the throttle providing full power and overriding the current PAS setting. We have custom firmware and adjust the controller software settings as well. We've sold them this way for more than 8 months with 750w and 350w in stock in...
Just to give an update on the BBS-01 and BBS-02. I've secured the software to re-program the controllers and will be detailing a few different customization options that I will be offering to my customers soon. This includes things like adjusting the number of and percentage of current...
For those wondering about the noise level on this motor, below is a short video where you can hear (or rather not hear) how quiet the motor is. Any tire noise, especially off-road completely drowns out the little noise it makes.

73mm isn't a problem, just need the 5mm longer bolts and spacers on the non drive side and use one locking (the fatter one) instead of two. I have a Fat bike running this width right now as well as an old Full Suspension Titus that's had a 350w motor for almost 6 months with a 73mm bottom...
The C963 has real time power info (in watts) but also only displays in km/h and has a small but high quality screen. The C961 has the 6 hex bolts securing it and the controls onto the handlebar. Unless someone wants to remove all 6 bolts and steal a display with a proprietary plug that will...
Officially sold in the US now (ship from Arizona) http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=50188 or http://www.lectriccycles.com. 350w and 750w in stock and already been shipping out 350w units for several months. At this point only one with the 750w actually available with kits...
These work much better than a hub motor in the sand due to the mechanical advantage you have using lower gearing. In deep sand and when first getting going this is very important. Here's a short video of riding through some sand.
