Hmm ok, you know the port number can change ? So It`s not a bad idea to check it before you connect. You dobbelt check the cables are correct to the Votol, maybe try to swap RX\TX and see if that`s better. Also 100% sure the Votol got full power from battery and is turned ON.

How do you know it`s on port 3 ? Enter WINDOW meny and write: Device Manager and find out what PORT to use first.

Try different SOFTWARE !! There is different version out, the one you using does NEVER connect to my votol either.
