Charge one half of the battery pack, then the other half?

I have to clarify that I didn't intend to use a charger with balance function. Each half would be connected to it's own balance board Also I have to add that the idea of the 10S pack was just the principle (and easier to draw  ). I was thinking more of making a 36-40S pack, where the...

Charge one half of the battery pack, then the other half?

Thanks guys! I will probably not run two chargers, but If I ever did, I will make sure I run them, or atleast one(?) through an galvanic isolator. As for checking voltages, I guess the only potential issue with using only one charger, is that you need to wait a while before you measure the...

Charge one half of the battery pack, then the other half?

So I have a theoretical question. If I made, say a 10S battery pack that used two separate 5S balancing modules (not in the drawing) could I charge half the pack first with a 5S charger, and then just charge the other half when the first one was done? I assume this will work perfectly fine as...

    bluetooth BMS?

Thanks m8! Just what I needed to know :bigthumb:

    bluetooth BMS?

Is it possible to connect/pair two bluetooth modules to the same Xiaoxiang app on the same phone, and read them independently?

    bluetooth BMS?

Thanks, and yeah, as I said, I only switch off the discharge/output, not the BMS. :thumb:

    bluetooth BMS?

But I use the switch option on the board to turn off the discharge FETs when I'm not using the battery. Is that somehow bad for the BMS or FET's?

    bluetooth BMS?

I have one of these smart BMS from RJXZS. I am using the JBDTools software. I have hooked up an on-off switch to the BMS and it's working fine. But when I plug in the charger, the discharge FET's switch on. (the charge FET's is switched on all the time) Is there any way to config it so the...

Any compact 38-40S BMS out there?

Hi! Is there any compact and light weight BMS systems out there for 38-40 Li-Ion's in series? Most of the systems i've seen seems to be for cars with master and slave units? I would prefer everything on one board. Also, what options do I have for charging a high(er) voltage pack like this?
