One of our hardware engineers said this when I asked if he knew what they do:
" they tune your controller response to your load. Straight amplification during an accel/decel could cause hunting or overshoot, etc. The derivative and iterative feedback in a loop can help tune the repsonse of...
GonZo,
In the video, I think you said that you didn't know what the Kp and Ki settings do. I don't know either, but I have a lead.

I am going to ask around at work what they mean. I may be able to noodle it from...
What does the speed error limit setting do? I am assuming it is the allowed error between the requested and actual speed. Maybe its not in RPM? Don't know I am just fishing. Thinking maybe that when U release the allowed error lets the rpm be off for a time?
I have a Kunray 60v 2500w motor I am working with. I have scope traces. I ran a bosch cordless drill. I'm guessing I was around 1000 rpm. I captured the halls and the waveform. I was running a foc sin controller. Didn't work out so well. The traces were not smooth. They were consistent from...
I asked Fany at Kelly controller for a recommendation. The recommendation was for a KLS7218S, It can be configured for torque, current or RPM mode before shipping. Current mode is when the controller adjusts motor current according to throttle and that's what I think I want.
Thank you for the response Amberwolf. I will be looking for information on the qs motor. From their website that looks like a good recommendation I have not seen before. I am not limited to the size / shape of the my1020. I will make whatever mounting I need and I do have more space.
Good...

I have built a kart. Some pics attached. I need an upgrade for more power (go figure) and a better...
