I needed a new power drill anyway, and seeing the pricing on these 24V 2ah packs ($20 @ lowes) had me intrigued, so I found a good deal and bought a drill kit (drill, charger, 24v 2ah pack). Yesterday I picked up a 4ah pack ($50 - $15 off $50 coupon = $35). As expected it looks to be identical...

anyone know if you can bulk charge the tool packs (with bms in place)? let's say I took 10 x 24v 2ah packs and created one big 48v 10ah pack, could I then use a charger set to ~50V against the large pack?

they will, you just tell them you need a sample. I chatted with the rep late at night and he tried to get my questions answerered and got the performance chart from the engineer for me, etc.

They have a ton of different SKUs so you could probably get dialed in pretty close to whatever you want if the price seems reasonable.

I do understand what you are saying/implying, however, I'm still pretty new to all of this. Do you have a suggestion on chainring tooth-count? I thought a decent IGH would be nice -- as long as I'm not shifting under load and get a decent HD chain, I thought it would help reliability and...

When you paralleled against the Kobalt charger, did you parallell the 3rd pinout as well (+, -, and other)?
