    MAC speed sensor adding

Thanks, if there is enough space between the frame and the disc for the sensor then this would be the easiest solution.

Arduino: Cycle Analyst / Phaserunner data logging

There is a project mentioned in this topic for reading the CA / PR data logs from a PC. Is there also a project for Arduino mc or has someone ever successfully read the data logs with an Arduino mc? Probably something like this would work. But before I start investing more time in it I want...

    MAC speed sensor adding

This is what MAC Motortech answered me: Since I don't need regenerative braking but easy pedaling in case of power loss, I will not send the MAC back. Yes, since the external speed sensor is more an optical issue than a serious practical issue. Having always to consider that you have to...

    MAC speed sensor adding

I em just try to explain why an external speed sensor solution won't work for my conversion. It would just make no sense to take an advice that doesn't give you the result you are looking for. This has nothing to do with not appreciating / taking care of the answers. Not only because of the...

    MAC speed sensor adding

The point that bothers me is, that even cheap hub motors (like my MXUS X15) have this functionality. Now with a several times more expensive motor I should do without it? That doesn't make sense to me. Problem with that solution is, a mobile phone display isn't always that readable like a...

    MAC speed sensor adding

This answer from ebikes.ca seems somewhat contradictory to me: Since I have a MAC without a locked clutch, it should provide a speed signal also while coasting? But the shop where I bought the MAC told me that the motor does not provide a speed signal while freewheeling? The porblem is, I em...

    MAC speed sensor adding

For whatever reason, MAC motors don't seem to have a built-in speed sensor which can provide a speed signal also while coasting. Has anyone ever added a speed sensor to a freewheel MAC motor? Would this be feasible with a reasonable amount of effort?

    Cycle Analyst speed display

Do you mean this won't give a speed signal while coasting? But where is the difference between a geared hub motor with speed sensor, which can provide a speed signal while coasting and geared hub motor with hall sensors? This speed sensors are also inside of the motor, how can they detect...

    Cycle Analyst speed display

Can the Cycle Analyst V3.1 DP display the speed from a freewheel MAC with a hall sensor? I will run it with a Phaserunner. The MAC has a 5 pin hall connector: PIN1: Hall sensor Green PIN2: Hall sensor Blue PIN3: Hall sensor Yellow PIN4: Black, Gnd PIN5: Red, +5V Or do I need a Cycle Analyst...

    Phaserunner acceleration

That's what I em looking for. A small and quiet controller that fits into my frame that can provide max performance with my existing components. And it should be compatible with the Cycle Analyst. Since the motor has hall sensors it also should pass a speed signal to the CA so that the CA can...

    Phaserunner acceleration

I want to get the max acceleration from the present components. Since I already have the motor and the battery, it's about what controller can provide the best acceleration with the already existing components (battery, motor). If the controller doesn't slow down the other components...

    Phaserunner acceleration

I was referring to this posts: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=88521#p1510830 https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=107777 Since only this Reention batteries will fit into my frame, I could only choose between 48V and 52V batteries with 30A continuous...

    Phaserunner acceleration

I've read some posts where users complain about slow acceleration with the Phaserunner. I want to use the Phaserunner with a MAC 10T and 48V / 52V batteries. Would the Phaserunner also be a good decision in terms of acceleration? I've also read that the following settings could improve the...

    Connecting a MAC with a Baserunner Z9

Are there any ready-made cable adapters for this type of application? The MAC has this 3 cables / connectors: Cable 1: Motor phase, Anderson 30A connector: PIN 1: Yellow PIN 2: Blue PIN 3: Green Cable 2: Hall sensors, Julet Z509 connector: PIN 1: Green PIN 2: Blue PIN 3: Yellow PIN 4: Black...

Reention 505 batteries with higher volts

As it seems the only option would be a bigger or higher case that would be mechanical compatible with the bracket in the frame. Unfortunately most bikes that use this battery have only 300W motors. Therefore the marked for such a battery would be probably too small.
