Something is definitely wrong with your brake setup if you can't lock the wheel up. I have had the same rear wheel setup as yourself with Hope M4's. COuld easily lock it up with one finger. An alternative is a Crystalyte HS/HT. To be honest I am not sure how much difference you are going to...

Been using it for the last 6 months a lot more frequently. Love it. Most stuff gets to the UK within 14 days. No matter what shipping says, I always think its going to be a month. Anything sooner is a bonus.

I couldn't tell you the welding current from memory, but I will have a look this evening. I am using 0.3mm nickel strip. Are the new electrodes available for customers with the previous model?

Using the kWeld for a few builds recently, but the cables/electrode holders can get too hot to touch after 5/6 welds. It takes 10 minutes or so to get this point. After calibration I am getting 3.9ohm using a 12v 90ah car battery. Is this figure too high? I am also using the previous version...

Yes. If the case does not fit, take the lid off. At the back there are two screw posts. You can remove some of the material away from the top of the posts. I also had to remove some of the material from the charger port. If the cells are squeezed together tight enough prior to spot welding...
