figuring out the wiring on my new controller

Excellent, thanks for the info! I never had any intention of using a speedo anyway so all good there. I'm building a little go kart for my son so no need for one at this stage.

figuring out the wiring on my new controller

Yeah a little strange for sure. I just don't wanna fry anything. For me the electric lock would make sense as a type of ignition wire but who knows! Will give it a try and see what happens tomorrow. Really hope someone has the same type of wiring and knows exactly what those 2 are though 😬

figuring out the wiring on my new controller

Hey Everyone, Just a very quick one. I've got a new controller and i'm trying to figure out how to hook up a couple of the cables. Below is a pick of my controller and i'm a little confused on the "electric lock" and "Autometer Signal" cables. I've seen so many variations online where the...

    Freewheel problems

So I'm building my first ebike from a boardman mtx 8.6 hybrid and I never really thought it through very well. So, the original 9 speed cassette wouldn't fit the hub so I bought a 9 speed freewheel thinking it'll fit nicely which it did but unfortunately it doesn't give any room for the hub to...

Power is biggest concern. London Police aren't very kind at the moment.

    wheel covers and hub motors

Yeah I thought the same. With some careful thinking, I reckon I could actually cool the motor better with a cover....hmm any ideas would certainly be welcome. I saw a post about leaving a small gap between the covers and rim then adding vanes In between the rim and cover to direct the airflow...

high voltage draw on full throttle

fantastic, thanks so much for all your replies! your pretty spot on with my AH which is rated at 21ah. another question (sorry!) on full charge, my pack reads 58v which i understand is correct....so when it reads around 50v, it's getting low but still has some capacity and runs absolutely fine...

high voltage draw on full throttle

Hey everyone, I'm brand new to the E-scooter world and got a question on the battery side. I've got a 52v dual 1300w motor scooter and my voltage draw on the dual engine setting at full throttle is 5v! that seems really high to me....is that normal? on the single motor setting, it's around...
