mongoose mx250 2 wheel to Trike

Sorry to say its not a leaning trike. I am unable to figure out a way to keep the leaning trike upright when she stops. But the current suspension does allow for a bit of leaning. 4ReeOG-CfKU

Feasible to run a 48V/35A output to high end Mxus 4T motor?

The other question about the battery and controller lasting for the mxus 4t. The motor will run @ whatever amp the controller gives it. So if the system was running fine before you switched motor then it will work fine after you move the controller and battery over to the new frame.

To get an idea of the power you would need to hit 50mph you should look up a few videos from member icecube578. He runs the endless sphere podcast on youtube. Here is one that might give you an idea of what is needed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83I2DknGDuA Also get over to ebike.ca and...

    First project, falling before start(250w)

How are your fabrication skills? I found a decent articles from back in 2014 showing custom mid drive system with freewheel. https://www.electricbike.com/roys-ecortina/ Or if you do not need that much power and just a bit of assist so that you can rest during long stretch of bike path then...

    First project, falling before start(250w)

If you do not mind losing 1 crank on the right side then you can piggy the system onto your current crank setup something like a 1-10 and use the 2nd crank for the mid drive. 250w is not going to damage your drive train I don't think but then it is very low power. The mount looks very simply...

    First project, falling before start(250w)

Hi Z welcome to the forums. It might help if you give us a location so we can help you find a good dealer or shipping cost when trying to help you find product locally for you. I did a quick search on ebay and found a few ebike kits that had free shipping. Not knowing what kit you picked and if...

    Multistar 2c/3c packs ?

2c multistar discussion starts on page 17. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2207137&page=17 Someone on reddit said those cells are GEB8043125 I was able to find some info doing a search on the cell. Seems like they are high density but low amp battery. People are using them in...

    Multistar 2c/3c packs ?

If you get the 12,000 mah that would put you right around 24amps @ 2c. Lipo with lower C rating usually means they have high internal resistance (IR). Depending on the application and size of your motor you might not be to happy with full throttle from a dead stop with these lipo's. Or you will...

    Multistar 2c/3c packs ?

The only multistar lipo I have on my E trike is for the head lights and tail lights. I run turnigy 20c in 4p config, my trike pulls max 60amps and the lipo pack I build can take up to 400amps continuous or 600amps burst. That's if you believe what Hobbyking shows on the label. So pulling 20c...

Heavy-duty steel road bike conversion - Advice needed

Hello Mr.Bob Reading your requirements/needs and to me it screams mid drive kit. With a mid drive kite you can keep the same wheels and the same braking system. You will be able to tackle most hills/mountain paved roads (depending on the kit wattage limit/ gearing options). This article is...

Hi Charles Are you doing this on your e scooter? reading your past post the controller was designed for 24v? unless you have changed the controller? I had a dc to scooter controller that was rated for 24 and 48 volts, caps on the controllers was rated for 60v. I did not notice these cheap dc...
