I say bad idea. You will most probably break the fuses or you will be using just a fraction of the wave where the voltage is just right. That doesn't help the power factor at all. There are two solutions, you either use the already mentioned capacitor limited current build with higher input...

You will never waterproof it completely with all the cables going in. I would just place a humidity sensor inside if it does get wet.

Are you considering supplying extra durable parts for the final drive or at least making research what would be suitable? I mean something like a BMX chain, with a robust single wheel at the back.

How about placing the reed switch on the brake body and the magnet on the lever?

Hey guys, more than a year of bulk charging every day I measured all cells and they are perfectly balanced both charged and discharged (+/-0.005V). The battery capacity seems to be somewhat smaller, but that's unrelated to the balancing issue. I'm very happy with the BMS.

Mine is working perfectly. Fully charges a 24s 10Ah battery in 40min.

I used a 500W reflector (no need for water). Just make sure you set up an alarm.

Any chance you could discharge the pack to 3.7V and then measure? I did a check on mine and after some 7 months of bulk charging and everyday use all cells are perfectly leveled at full charge 4.18V +/-0.01V (I use my BMS). The question is if due to different capacities the cells are also...

Don't you see a pattern? Why are all the IRs (except the last 3 packs) ordered from smallest to largest? It looks like a property of your charger. Even in the last 3 the values are pretty much ordered. Something smells fishy! :pancake:
