Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

thanks a lot m8! I chose TuBliss because I could run extremely low PSI without much worry about a flat and the other reason is the weight, which I think will be lower than HD tubes + rim lock. I don't really wanna trim anything off the tire, cuz cornering stability will become an issue. From...

Hey, do any of you guys run 21/16 combo? I think with the linkage it should work just fine, and less spinning mass on the rear, also you can always switch to 19/16 with the stock front if you want more agility for some more demanding singletracks (same trick for 21/18'', but unfortunately you...

TuBliss doesn't use any sealant, it's just regular air, isn't it a perfect solution then? And as far as I can understand you can run 0 psi on the outer "tube", and pitching an inner tube is not easy at all. Even if you do, you can probably have a regular tube with you in case the worst thing...

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Thanks! After going back and forth I've decided to stick with 19/16 setup, don't think all that extra hassle with the weight is worth it anymore. If I want a more full-sized enduro feel I'm better off buying a full-sized gas bike enduro instead  On top of that, I can run lightweight...

Have anyone measured the weight of Nuetech Tubliss? Is the whole setup with the rimrock installed lighter than regular tube + rimrock? Also if someone is running Shinko SR241 with TuBliss setup could you please tell what's your experience on those tires on wet grass, soil, gravel and forest...

I've started researching Nuetech TuBliss and it seems they are lighter than standard tube not to mention HD ones? How do you feel about them, are they worth it? Is it hard to switch tires when running tubliss?

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Now I'm confused :( I thought 3.5''-18 pretty much equals 90/100-18 and 90/100-18 is what Woodys Wheel Works recommends for his 18'' wheel. He even said no offset needed for SR241, and just 1/8'' for MX33. Shaving the knobs is not an option for me btw. As to why the 18'', mainly because it's...

Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Have another question before finally pulling the trigger on the 21/18 setup: what rear rim size is preferable for the Sur ron, more heavier but also stickier 2.15'' or lighter and more agile 1.85''? FWIW, I will probably go with Dunlop MX33 90/100-18 for heavier off-road and Shinko SR241 3.5-18...

Thanks! 50mph is plenty. And I guess 60T is the way to go if I want to save the same torque I have now with 54T.

Thanks m8, that's very helpful! I guess 54T will not be enough for those large wheel, so have to get at least 60T. Btw what's your top speed with the current setup, I understand it's not the priority, but just for the sake of it :)

Hey fellow surronsters, if someone has 21/18 wheel setup, what's your experience with range and power decrease, is it really noticeable? I have Nuc 24f with 60v/52ah battery, 54 sprocket fwiw. Also I guess I have to run lifting linkage to keep the right geometry? Thanks!
