    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Interesting. With the UART motors, connecting P+ to GND burnt out the controller. Courtesy of the eggrider display. 😩

Any thoughts on running the motor without the canbus display like shorting the P+ and PL on the UART version of the motor?

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

It’s possible one group of cells is bad and under voltage. The BMS will shut off the entire battery.

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Does anyone know how to reset the odometer in the DPC-18 display? I’m missing the factory setting from the main menu and was only able to reset the trip data using the trip reset.

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I ran into a new problem today. I'm running the osf with 860c display, v1.0.0. I noticed after turning off the display, the data are not getting saved e.g. odometer and the assist level. It would only happened in the past when I powered down using the battery on/off switch. But now, turning...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

I updated the motor firmware to v1.1.0 and was running it for sometimes until I was experiencing pre-mature cut off from my 52V battery. I noticed the motor and battery completely shut down at about 48V. The last time it happened, I unplugged the battery and plugged it back. The battery came...

TSDZ2 mid drive with 860C, 850C or SW102 displays only -- Flexible OpenSource firmware (Casainho code only)

If u can find another flashing cables for the motor and the display which are known to work, you should give that a try. Issues like yours usual originate from the cables.

So the 860C display is brand new? Are u able to get it to turn on at all connecting to your current display cable? Which boot loader cable are u using? I have the 860c and used the boot loader cable from eco-ebike.com and didn’t have any issues. I had flashed the display multiple times with...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Yes it does reset everything. It may be a dumb question. Did you also update the firmware of the motor to the corresponding .hex file?

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

May be the torque sensor is failing. I would go into the technical menu which shows the value of the sensor while u are riding and try to see what’s going on with the value when that happens. I highly recommend for u to do the sensor calibration. I used a cheap luggage scale.
