How many Volts? I run 52V (fully loaded 58.8) 75A = 4400Watt. When i go full throttle with a full battery my BMS cuts off at the 75A what means the controller pulls more. So, i think the numbers are real battery amps not phase amps. But the thermal design is horrible because that tiny box can...

The cogging happens under high load what means at the start from zero, and/ or going full throttle from slow cruising. It`s a bit better since i played with the duty cycle and i am not yet done with it. I stopped adjusting because i also wanted to make that cooling solution today. I quit FOC...

Do you have any idea what`s the name of the parameter for the " multiple reading of the hall sensors"? I made tiny little steps forward with adjusting the duty cycle. Also made quick dirty ghetto fix for the thermal problem.

They all need to be programmed with the VESCTool what can be quiet challenging sometimes...

I got this home bike roller trainer where i put the bike on and it was possible to work much faster on the problem. I found settings which are not super, but ok for now. On BLDC (no FOC) with hall sensors. I get 100% power from the battery to the motor, only the launch from zero is still heavy...

Do it in the other direction. Check the market for used, street legal S-Pedelecs with documents. Pick one to modify because you need a monster battery what means you have to get a custom build. So don`t buy a brand with CAN.

Your battery can not handle the demand. Program the controller to lower amps or get a bigger battery.

If VESC is an option. These controllers are small and powerfull. Available also for 2 and 3 motors (one controller).

Then you will lose the torque sensor. How will you get a PAS function? What about Regen? Want to use a throttle? Then you don`t need to buy a Stromer. Get an escooter grom the beginning....

You need this sticker. There is no relation between the sticker and the bike number on the frame. You can check for a 2nd sticker on the battery or on/in the battery housing.

Still working on the problem, with support from a guy who sets up VESC controller all day. Higher Amp settings helped a lot but was not the final solution. Meanwhile if fried one controller with settings 160 Amps for LEARNING. No comment. Yes there are multiple ways to brick the controller...
