My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Thanks so much! I had been going through the gears much like a motorcycle, starting at 1 and skipping one as I shifted. I'll keep this chart in mind!

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Still loving mine - I had a motorcycle accident last fall, and was not out on two wheel anything for a while. Getting back to moving again, and have commuted with the AM1000 a few times. I have to say I am very impressed with the Support from Ivy and the Frey team, and how the bikes continue to...

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

I am on a 48V 21ah battery, my commute is 20 miles. I ride it in PAS 3 most of the way, with one 3 mile stretch along a busy road that I goto PAS 5 or full throttle. It takes about an hour to do the trip, and the battery is pretty low when I get there. An easy ride in PAS 2-3 would be fine for a...

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Mine is mostly a street commuter, I swapped out to set of street tread speedster tires with mr tuffy liners. They def roll smooth and fast!

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

My full EX1 set arrived, and it is a very nice piece, but I'll say I am happy with the setup I have on the bike. I might consider selling the EX1 to recoup some of the bike costs, anyone interested in a full set? Chain, sprocket, front gears, derailer, shifter, and cable?

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

My "sweet spot" for the commute on the Rover has been about 18-20 MPH at PAS 3, it leaves a safe buffer on the commute and rolls well. I do full throttle it on some of the tighter parts. Besides the bigger motor and battery, the mid-drive Frey has the advantage of gears, so with a similar level...

    Xiaomi m365

Many of the Ebay sellers are knock offs - I have one, and it is OK, but not the same as the M365. I ordered straight from Alibaba, Best I could find to US shipped was in the $500USD range.

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

To add - I am not an electrical engineer at all, so perhaps someone can work it out - The Rads are 750W with 672Wh, Frey is 1000W with 1008Wh, I would estimate full throttle range would be similar, but the speed would be higher on the Frey. Full throttle on my rover is 26MPH, I am 37-38MPH on...

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

I have a Rad Rover, Rad Mini, and AM1000 - I am 215lbs, and have a 19 mile commute. I carry a full set of clothing, first aid kite, air pump, lock, etc, a pretty good weight on top of myself. My Rad Rover makes it in PAS 3 - holding about 18-20 MPH, and has just a little battery left when I get...

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Have the bike pretty much setup for commuting, and have made the 20 mile ride to work several times. I do miss the rear panniers setup I had on my Rad Rover, but making this work OK. Love the bike, no issues thus far. Got a message that Ivy sent out my EX1 set.

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

I had them wire one in on mine, both headlight and tail. I can see if I can find any branding on it tonight.

My Bafang Ultra Mountain Bike! Frey AM1000

Update on my snapped derailer, I went to install the new one this weekend and the derailer carrier was severely bent. Must have taken a hit in shipping. I was able to straighten it then install a new shimano XT. Dialed in the setup, set my sag up (I was like 75% as shipped - took the pressure up...
