Have fat tire bike with 100mm bb that I would love to do something with. The hub kits weigh more then bike. The Bafang mid drive sold by a few are more expensive then the Minnesota 1.0...... I own. Any suggestions? Thank you !!

Took your guys advise regarding bafang 48V500W mid drive and hardtail. From your experience will I get better battery range using a larger wheel? Battery I currently have is 48V11AH. Thanks !!!

Looking for more efficiency then speed. Have hub motors now that can easily do 30 mph but looking for more torque for the sole purpose most of my riding is off road but wondering if a 20 mile range is realistic for all of you with the experience. By the way .......Thank you !!!

Just looking for approximate with throttle only. Of course will be using PAS at times. Just use a level asphalt surface for example using throttle only sitting upright with 2.4 tires. Will it get better range then a bafang 48V500W 260rpm geared/brushless rear hub on same 26" wheel? Thought...

Lol.......no have new battery 48V11AH was trying to figure out approximate range for throttle only.

What kind of range should I expect using a 48V11AH battery using throttle only? Tryed to use Warrens chart could not understand. I'm right around 190 lbs. Just looking for approximate.

Most of the full suspension bikes that are less then 1,500.00 don't use a floating bottom bracket just found this out. Bafang doesn't mount to downtube. Any suggestions?

Question is how do these mid drive kits work with full suspension bikes? That's my concern, someone mentioned here about having a floating bottom bracket on bike? Thanks everyone !!!

Thanks Warren, should I stick with stock chain? That's one of my concerns being 10 miles into woods and snapping a chain. How is the range on these utilizing throttle only versus the equivilant hub motor?

You questioning drive train ( hub, chain, derailleur etc.) Not going to be doing any downhill or jumping with bike. But like I said you guys have the experience so have to respect that. Can you use the stock cassete on rear wheel even if it has 8 cogs? Trying to simplify things with keeping...
