I ordered an ASI BAC8000 directly from ASI and a 72v battery from lightspeed. I could use some help settingul/programing correcrlt. Im willing to pay if anyone Has the know how and is willing to jump on Skype and walk me through it. I will definitely compensate you, with money or a custom seat...
My opinion here but the O-ring chain is way overkill for this bike and robs you of watts. I swapped out for a no O-ring and it's quieter and faster. but you have to keep it clean.
I already took the seat off but here is one a little further out. I sew in a peice of 1/2 neoprene to make them softer. You can see it on this seat because I made it slightly too wide.
Honestly if I cared too much about water I'd use a different material. Leather basically sucks when it gets wet. The waxing is good to keep it from getting stained by the water but it wouldn't stand up to riding in a down pour. I'd probably use some alcantra or other synthetic for a truly...
Thanks. I've made a few for my motorcycle and for a couple friends and probably messed up like 30 seats just practicing. I do want to start a side business doing it at some point, it's better than driving Uber. I just want to get really good at it first. I've been watching a bunch of youtube...
I picked up a industrial sewing machine at an estate sale and I've sewing leather motorcycle seats for about 6 months. I decided to make one for my Sur-Ron as practice. I added some dye to the edges to give it a patinaed look and a ton of wax to make it water resistant.
Finally got around to finishing this bike. I spent around a month completely rebuilding the controller replacing all the caps and adding resistors.

Getting close to finishing this bike still waiting on some brake discs. Test fitting a bag Rogue Panda made for another build. I have another one coming in turquoise and gray for this bike. Inside is a 14s10p 20650 pack I made.
I've been wanting to build a new bike for awhile. I've had all the pieces lying around but always seem to have other projects. Well when I woke up this morning I decided today was the day. All the wiring will be run interally to give it a super clean look. I might start offering these for sale...
So the Bafang Ultra's chainring spider is super heavy. Has anyone ever tried the Yamaha PW spider made by FSA. They look really close and would allow the ultra to use mtb chainrings. I've no one knows I'm going to buy one and check.
The reason I've been going with ABS is because it's super easy to get a perfect print compared to Nylon. I consider the wheel side pulley a wear item and they get me about 500 miles, they last longer than the wheels they are bolted to.
You can certainly print them yourself from the...
