Luis doesn't use zip ties..... 8) I vote for under the downtube, but maybe in a small ventilated enclosure that smooths out the lines a little and helps hide some of the wiring. The bike is looking great Luis :bigthumb:

Since last post, the Dyno has received a 13 aH 48V battery from California Ebike and is still an everyday rider. The Schwalbe Fat Franks are getting thin and I'm thinking of going to Big Ben's in 2.15" next.

For a long time I'd been wanting to build a cruiser. I'd been riding my GT Palomar everyday and that thing is a blast, but wanted something more laid back. Eventually a nearby CL post for a dusty neglected C1 led me to this. A $120 Cruiser 1 with blinky wheel lights, a bent pedal, dry rotted...

It's rock solid. I learned how to properly install riv-nuts and put 3 into the downtube.

Before: After: BBS02 from Luna at 1.3 kw, 14S 17aH battery and EggRider display from California Ebike, Schwalbe Super Moto-X 26" x 2.4" tires, Lekkie 40T ring and 170mm Buzz Bars. It rides sooooooo nice.

Thanks SlowCo, I can't say enough good about the BMX bars. They are ideal for slightly older dudes like myself, especially ones who have neck flexibility issues.
