    Experience with Fazua

My battery was the early version and simply a series of screws holding the cases together. Have a look at the thread https://endless-sphere.com/sphere/threads/fazua-battery-mystery-how-do-you-get-36v-from-17-batteries.115179/page-3

    Experience with Fazua

There is indeed a lot to like about the Fazua system, lightweight, reasonable power and good backup largely. But the minute you sidetrack at all from factory settings or you want to create your own battery / charging system, forget it. For example I ended up with a battery that had gone below...

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

52 volt at 14S with 30A BMS's fitted batteries. Should give at 25A's ( 25A x 52V ) 1300W's fairly comfortably. On my EBike you can see 1200W's peak without a problem. So what about fitting an inline soft start to try and ramp up the A's ? any quick solutions in this direction ?

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

Thanks Price is a tad high for that unit. For the same money you could buy a 54 volt core drill and a spare battery or two. Seems a pity to throw the old favourite 240 volt tools away, I had hoped to avoid that but its looking to be the best option in some ways. But I'll still have the problem...

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

Thanks guys. I didn't know about the serial implications of the voltage across the FET's. So that really only leaves a 60 volt inverter which it would seem is difficult to find ( thats reliable and not over enthusiastically rated by the seller ).

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

Agreed but not too many people like to have gene's running in their lounge. Working in London and can be a pain sometimes

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

Thanks, yes the 1000W drill will start no problem free load but as soon as you load it up both the inverters I tried stopped at about 500W's. One of them was supposedly an 8000W unit ( 4K constant ) but obviously not. Looked at those conversions into a box and its the batteries that weigh. The...

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

The two I've tried both say they'll produce 2000W's and 4000 W's peak but both limit back to about 500W's in just a few seconds. Maybe just unlucky. Any reliable invertors in that range can anyone recommend ?

60 volt lithium battery to 240v AC as a portable power station.

Hi, I have a need regularly for 240AC of about 1000 - 1200W's ( large drills and cut off saws ) where AC is not normally available. I could run a small generator but I have about 1600Wh's of 60V ( 14S ) lithium Ebike batteries that would do the job nicely if I could find a suitable 60 volt...

tsdz2 fitting in shimano ep8000 frame

Heres my E10 fitted with a TSDZ2 motor ( the M600 now fitted wasn't available ). Its possible but for the additional cost of say a M510, the amount of work needed to make up the adaptor is just not worth the effort. The M600 is about to be replaced with the M560 and the M510 v3 puts out nearly...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Probably the most info on the standard motors is on this forum https://www.emtbforums.com/forums/bafang.69/ If you just want to change speed then look up on AliExpress and you can get a small device to do just the speed and wheel circumference. A more advanced unit which will also change the...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Hi, we're looking for the 46.2 firmware for the M600, is that actually anywhere on say the Github site, it would be pity if this is another locked version again much like the series in the M510 where only the very late motors seem to be able to handle the BEEST Pro. Bit of a minefield one thinks...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Casainho, we should all be thanking you for all the efforts you put into these sort of things. So the next stage would be to get an App that we could all use that sits over the Python program to simplify things for us programming numpties :D

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Pro only works with the last version of the firmware, I'm not sure the M500 didn't have the earlier version that is not changeable from the BeestPro. Both the earlier version of the M500 and the M600 motors seem to have been cast off into the no longer updateable motor section by Bafang which is...

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

Beemac, I’ve been trying to contact you via the PM, seems it’s not getting through. I have a large amount of spares you can use.

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Caisanho, phew that looks to be a lot of detective and electronics work going on there. On the printed cover, is there a possibility of stepping out that cover to create a larger void inside the motor, even 5 - 10mm maybe enough to get a full Mini VESC setup in there. Good luck with the actual...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Wasn’t there quite a bit of development on the TSDZ2 done by one guy using the ESP32 board, he has all the mobile phone Apps and such like already set up, maybe worth conversing ? https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=103318

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

Casainho, I was a bit doubtful about having an external VESC controller and interface electronics outside of the motor casing, but I'm starting to wonder whether its the simplest solution. After all its just wires and another enclosure and in most EBikes up near the head stock there is some...

Looking at building a new pack with Samsung 50E

Sorry the battery is located in a compartment so there’s no real way of looking at the temp. I thought of fitting a BT BMS and should have in some ways, but the cheapo simple types with a temp sensor on seem to be OK as a backup in case of a high core temp. Our batteries are shrouded in thick...

Looking at building a new pack with Samsung 50E

My 50E 14S3P pack which is now about 18 months old and circa 100 charges has not shown any real change from new. In some ways it took about 10 charges before it settled down at better than manufacturer specs. Max is 20A but I do fully charge it and run it down to below 2.9V at times, everything...

Anyone have experience with Samsung 50e or Samsung 40t cells?

We run both as 52 volt E Bike batteries. The 50E's we run as 14S3P @ max 20A's so far without any sort of issue. We tried to run them as 14S2P but the voltage sag at the later stages will trigger the BMS early. The 40T as a 14S2P has been really good and absolutely no problems with handling...

    Bafang M500/M600 thread

We should all be appreciative of the work you have put in on both this project and the TSDZ2 project and of course also to all the others that contribute behind the scenes, to better EBiking with our Bafang motors. In regards to the short term, most of us here are regular riders and will look...
