Problem is that it is not nickel, I think it is nickel plated copper. And there is a slit in the middle. 10p of molicell p45b, so I suppose 450A, maybe I can go a little higer for my short 2sec bursts? 500 or so.

The copper plates arrived a few days ago: About 2kg for one battey  Maybe I should have asked for 0,5mm thick, they suggested 1mm and I didnt disagree. As I dont have any weak spots really, 0,5mm should be more than enough I think. My weakest is 3 parallel cells have to share a...

    ANT BMS need help

You can hit auto balance, but then you dont know if your balance settings are working as you want. If you just leave it charging you can check when it starts balancing automatically. But if you dont want to charge, but want it balanced hit auto balance.

    ANT BMS need help

If you cant change your settings, start with typing in the settings you want then press "setting" and also "save". Do that with one setting at the time.

Cool, is pin 12 a ground pin on yours? Does it say version somewhere? The new v4 of the smaller controllers have some sort of 3speed switch input on pin 12.

First Electric Motorcycle Conversion Advice (1974 Honda CB360)

The diode is not to protect the coil, it is to protect the switch or whatever that is controlling the coil from the voltage spike that comes when relesing the coil.

No, you have the pre charge resistor controlled by a relay. So when it is off, the hv is off. You only turn on the pre charge a second before the contactor.

Alright, first ride in 5 weeks  Maybe I should have tried to get the boots on before going to the track.. It turned out I could, but it wasent easy. And it wasent any easier to get the boot off. It was very wet and muddy: I decided I better hose down the trousers before washing...

    Zero XU & DS

Dosent seem to be much interest in these bikes? Well, I havent had it on top of my priorities either. But I made a go for it, and tried to get the ds done too now. It would be easy to make a 24s2p battery, then I could just stack the modules 2 in the bottom and 2 on top of them and bolt them...

First Electric Motorcycle Conversion Advice (1974 Honda CB360)

My comment was just about the controller in relation to the motor, as some seem to suggest that it was to much already. As you say it is probably a lot already on this bike. These motors can take a lot in bursts at least, I dont know when it comes to high power for longer times. (I think the...

The controller is a little on the small side if you want as much as possible out of the motor. Most that run votol go for the em260.

    Toyota’s 1:6:90 rule ?

The problem with small battery bev:s is that you need another car for the longer trips. It would work for those that have two cars anyway, but it limits the numbers of potential buyers.

    Toyota’s 1:6:90 rule ?

Edit ok, it said one long range bev, so more like 100kwh. Then the battery would be enough for six 16,5kwh plug in hybrid cars.

    Toyota’s 1:6:90 rule ?

It dosent make sense to me. If one bev battery should have enough battery cells for 6 plug ins, the average bev has to be 80kwh to make six 13kwh batteries. So far maybe, but then with the battery out of the question the plug ins have the same things as the bev and an ice car. I cant see how it...

    crf450r 45kw race bike build

Yes, but what I mean is as he said it wasnt a settings error, and he agreed to cover the cost it probably wasnt the users fault. It had an earlier fw and sw, thereby it could be a bug or compatibility problem. Or so to speak, a settings problem that wasnt in the settings ;)

E-bike build Overvolting dd hub motor

To clarify, my results are based on how long I could ride before the windings got over 130 degrees C. That is where I set my power rollback, and completely cut at 150 degrees C. So a ride often ended with a winding temp about 140 degrees. With statoraid it was probably double the runtime or...

E-bike build Overvolting dd hub motor

I am talking about outrunners here, dd hubs. That is what I expect this question is about, on other motors it will be different. I dont think I ever saw over 60 degrees on the outside, even when the windings were about 140degrees. It got a few degrees warmer on the outside with statoraid. I...

E-bike build Overvolting dd hub motor

Interesting, I have totally oppisite results. Statoraid made a lot of difference, hubsinks almost nothing. That is with a qs 205 50h 4t, 500pA and 3-400bA I think it was. Peaks about 24kw if I remember correctly.
