    The fact that possibly printing component layers at newspaper printing speeds may well be a significant breakthrough all on its own. Will be interesting to see if design will be rugged enough to last or if it will have any major capacity gains. My guess that it Should weigh less.

    1600 joules is roughly 1100 ft/pounds or near 1500 newton/meters prior to gear reduction. Looks like in order to catch the peaks the wheel sprocket power meter needs to have a bit more head room than what is spec'd.
