Arrow Electronics 4110 Deal Is Gone

I went onto the Arrow website and built a cart including 10 IRFB4110s for their $1.68 price. I needed them for a 24 FET controller, and I had bought from the same batch they still have twice before so I knew they would match up good. I went and spent a long time searching for gate resistors...

This is a 1996 GT LTS3 frame with 1999 Marzocchi Bomber BAM Z2 forks. Mxus 4t with 12g Sapim SS spokes laced into an Alex DM24 rim. Femco dual wall front wheel for now. Kenda K838 tires on order. Hallomotor sine wave controller with LCD and regen braking (that might be a six step in reality...

Found this In The Scrap Bin

I went to the local scrap yard to see if they had any new bikes in to scavenge parts from. My friend bought a OCC Schwinn Stingray chopper for $25 bucks complete. I found this out front for free...what a surprise. Maybe I will make a longer swingarm for it and put a 4t Mxus 3000 in it sometime...

    $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

I got this controller just to modify. It came today(link 1). It has 100v 330w fets with 7.0mOhm on resistance(MXP1007AT) and 100v Chang caps as expected. What I did not expect was the 15 FETS inside. This controller is rated at 72v 500w. 6 of these fets could easily handle that rating. It seems...

    IRFB4110 dissipation question

I am wondering if I am playing Russian Roulette with my modified controller. Question. Can I just add up the total power dissipation of 370 watts per IRFB4110 and use that as a battery input power limit? Example. I am running a 6x4110 controller at 72v 30a. Real life draw with sag is 69 volts...
