    high power mosfet for soft start?

    has anyone played around with a high power mosfet as a soft start? im playing around with one in the shop and found even after a ride fet stays cool to the touch. only takes 5v to turn it on. just a idea.going to see if i can load it up and let out the magic smoke. but it seems to be working...

    well that stinks. only lasted 3 months even with moding the fets for better cooling. :( main cap on the power suppy vented. even after replacing the cap theres other problems not worth fixing. time to upgrade. jz2h1ayDtzc

    not sure if someone could use it this way but i found a way to use a cheap charger as a cell monitor bypassing most of the errors in the firmware. :wink: and without the main battery leads hooked up. balance wires only. hell i can get it into balance mod without a battery hooked up :roll...

    tested this out in the past but found the bigger compressors spit oil all over. this one does not. rated for 1hp. i find when doing someones repair there tires are always low so im forever pulling out the pump. this compressor is small about the size of a fist. 6x-wvaWsNIg nice explosion...

    picked this up cheap but im having trouble telling the watts on the motor. 250watt? 500watt? if anyone has any info on this bike that would be great. its amazing what you find under all the rust :mrgreen: surprisingly this model has led lighting :D phoenix e-cruiser 36volt

    my poor ebike is in need of a rebuild and i was just starting to get the money together to do just that when i got a email saying i won the a ebike kit from ebikekit.com talk about lucky :wink: looks like it going to be a good summer for riding :P i found the guys easy to deal with...
