    Commuter Challenge Carbon Usage

Well after this week I saved 20kg of carbon by ebiking to work and 35kg of carbon (dioxide) by having solar panels to charge my bike. Truth is that my wife said NO MORE EBIKEs so I took the money that I saved in gas from the previous summer and bought the equipment on Ebay for a solar system to...

Battery LiFePO4 48v 20ah Mount for Front Motor

Here is a method that I have used on my Ebikes for the past three years that works quite well. LiFePO4 ready for spring riding.

Time to condition those LiFePO4 batteries for spring riding. Discharge six to eight times with a 100 watt light bulb for 20 minutes on a 48v 20ah battery - 60w for 36v 20ah. And check those nuts! Have a great summer to all!

I know when I watch the videos that there were a few places where I would turn my head that "to make the show go on" this did not happen. Would mounting it on the shoulder be a better option - or what are the options?

Turnigy Watt Meter Tap for Battery

One of the problems that I have with the meter is that if the BMS cuts out because the controller wants too many amps then the Turnigy loses its reading of amps consumption. This happened the other day when I was measuring my total mileage at optimum throttle. This only happens for a brief...

LiFePO4 to fit in Triangle Frame

Why do they not make 36v and 48v configurations to fit in the frame of the bike. On Ebay you see battery carriers for sale for SLA batteries but nothing advertised by the battery assembly places (mostly China) that advertise triangle configurations. Some have been doing it on the side for quite...
