    The shunt on my 15f was labeled as 1.9mohm, but the app was showing a max peak of about 200a. I've had to change my shunt value to 0.5mohm to get a reading that is half believable.

    Yep, I ran into the same problem. I've gone with a 40t chain ring and I would say it is probably the largest that will fit in the frame. Combine that with a (14-17-20T) 3 Speed Freewheel and it's ok to pedal up to 40kph. http://r.ebay.com/JMO7Q8

    Thanks for the advice. I have tried it both ways. The bms' BT name is 'minew' for whatever reason. If I attempt to connect through the phone settings it just hangs then fails. If I attempt to connect through just the app I get a notification similar to 'unable to connect'.

    Thanks, I will try that. Although I don't think my module has any LEDs. It's worth a shot. They may be able to trouble shoot the problem also.

    MXUS copper wire coating damaged

    Thanks guys. I've edited the original post to amend the incorrect term. The laminations are not damaged, it's the coating on the copper wire that is damaged. I'll put a small dab of super glue over it like major suggested.

    I opened my MXUS v3 and noticed a small scrape on the varnish of the copper wire. I tested the continuity with my multimeter and it shows a short to my phase wires. I'm not sure how it happened, it doesn't seem raised enough to be touching the side plate. Is this a major problem or will this...

    It is thank you. The bike looks good, and looks better with the new adjustment. Sounds like you may have a bad cell group. Check each with a multimeter and see if one is unusually low.
