If HPC were the last electric bike company in the world, I'd wake myself up with my own screams of horror, then realise it was just a bad dream and fall asleep again

Hehe love it when your dad flies past at max velocity. Really nice vid Rick, the scenery, the music. Felt like I was there but was also strangely relaxing too :)

Recommend ebikes for a work fleet

Definitely the new Stealth Fighter - it ticks all the boxes especially LONG range. Next best option could be Flux bikes custom built for your requirements. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=71666

No it doesn't...it looks terrible. I can't believe what YouTube does to perfectly good images. Video butchery. Maybe try Vimeo? Other than that...very very nice vid, really flows with the choice of camera mount positions, scene selection and cuts on beat. 2 thumbs up!

Wow. That is some serious bike cred.

Can't speak about B52 - mine is more like a B17 in terms of age - but with the 5404 motor WOT in 9th gear, I can still input power through the cranks if I limit current. Or at full power, as Jimboyr6 says, up to around 40 mph. Above 40 mph, the pedals become adjustable foot pegs. That said, it...

A Hall sensor tester is the easiest way, not exactly sure where I got mine...it was a while ago. Without one of these, you'll need a multimeter and do it like this: https://www.ebikes.ca/documents/HallSensorTestingFinal.pdf

Does it have to be sent back to Russia to be fixed? Are the settings in Russian???

Yeah except a mate called me a "beer snob", the other said "nah he's a beer wanker". While they guzzle the worst beers on earth.

Stand out advice...I mean it when I say good luck CD! Hopefully we can read about some positive stuff soon. BTW The dropout was designed prior to the implementation of regen. The torque clamp/block permanently solved these regen issues for me on both the Bomber and Fighter.

I think you have mentioned that but worthwhile repeating! Expensive & very hard to find American IPA: Ballast Point Sculpin Pricey but better value & relatively easy to find: Ballast Point Big Eye Pricey Aus IPA's: Feral Hop Hog, Mash Copycat Better value quality Aus IPA: ???

Me too...bit early and at work on a Monday over here so it'll have to wait till later in the week but I've discovered high quality beer...American IPA is the best. Only 1 or 2 Australian hops beverages come close. That meme is very unkind lol

CD haven’t you modified your Fighter massively including adding an Adaptto controller, high voltage pack and a derailleur? The Adaptto & high voltage alone could be the reason for your issues. More power, more powerful regen. With such a powerful bike, you need to pay even closer attention to...

Very interesting info John! My guess was that the new Fighter pack was some type of LiMn chemistry because it weighs around 10 kg and is 1.5kWh. Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide - like the sound of that - apart from the nasty cobalt :)

tech@stealthelectricbikes.com is the new address Hmm sounds like the pack. It might be more like swapping a cell not a part. Of course your pack might be nearing its end of life in which case you might want to get a new pack. Best to contact tech@stealthelectricbikes.com [edit] Rereading...

    Down under ID?

Unfortunately very close...in fact it is already here in practice. I was threatened with arrest at my local park for not being able to produce my drivers licence for not wearing a helmet...on my pushbike...in the park. Exactly. Another example of the nanny constabulary state that is New South...

Totally ironic...today I sailed through Sydney traffic on a journey that would have taken an extra hour and then some in a car. I wasn't racing just cruising in 250W mode. Power limited in street legal mode with the new 30Ah Fighter pack, range is ridiculous, not exactly sure what it is but way...

Not sure why but I'm constantly chased by everything from Great Dane to Chihuahua on my Bomber...needless to say no dog gets close...you get to know them & only the stupid ones try more than once. Thinking about it, people don't lock their dogs up in rural areas like they do in the city....I...

I do like the sound of 98V Adaptto in the Bomber on the trails but the 30Ah pack in the Fighter has changed the way I ride & charge. Rather than charge after every ride like I did previously, I find the best way now is to just keep riding until I've consumed around 24Ah leaving around 20% in...

Emmett I'm not sure but I think it's of the manganese variety of lithium...it weighs around 10 kg and really feels plentiful in terms of usable range. Because of that large capacity, power delivery just seems to keep on going compared to the last pack which was LiFePO4.

I think the Fighter will be the choice for long range riding for a while. I asked them about the Bomber and that is a lot more complex in terms of manufacturing & certification. It will happen just not in the short term. With the new Fighter pack I can understand how 120km would be...

I think I can say with maybe not 100% certainty that you have a problem with your pack, possibly a fried cell or 2. I would contact Stealth...they can repair it or point you to other solutions depending on your location.
