    so it turns out I had the baud rate in windows set to 9600. duh. changing that to the bac controller standard of 115200 fixed it in addition to pressing the automotive connector wires further into the housing. it was making contact but the connectors were touching inside the housing causing...

    you maybe right about the ttl drivers. I did have issues with it communicating the the ca the first time I updated to prelim9. reinstalling it and dinking with it got the ca working......why so finicky is windows. :x :wink:

    I realize the backwards thing is not the ca. As stated after that part of the post, I changed the phase and Hall combos and got it to go forwards. And it was working with just the controller before I added the CA. it was working with all the gagets attached to the controler. that was with a CA...
