Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Who? Me? If it is me then I admit, I was getting a bit frustrated on page 38 but really... I think my latest post was just information about what issues I've had and what remains to be fixed. And yes, I agree, the Speedict crew is doing a great job working out all the issues of the various...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Didn't you see page 38 in this thread? It's where I talk about my adventures with the Speedict sync GPS on/off... Well, if you only knew how many wasted hours I have spent on exactly the same thing... GPS is still an issue on mine, not that it interferes with the sync or FW upgrade anymore but...

Tonaro zoco rossa + PAS + leafcontroller != working

Ok, thanks. It seems difficult to find a more powerful controller that will fit in that small box.

Tonaro zoco rossa + PAS + leafcontroller != working

Were you able to fit that controller into the same compartment as the stock controller? If not, where did you put it? BTW, can you run higher voltages on that controller? Im thinking of upgrading my controller as well... /Anders

Tonaro bighit clone - battery question

Yes, mine also drops about 4V under load. I have decided that it is just a poor battery and I will get a 12s RC LiPo instead.

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

The new build, is it with the Mercury or the older eBike from Speedict? My Mercury / HTC Desire combo still has some issues, I don't know if they are bugs in the ROM or in the product but they are getting fxed one by one by the Speedict team. I still haven't connected the PAS sensor or the...

It was the chain... It seems a professional bike shop can sort out stuff like this:) And finally I could get rid of that horrible grip shift and get a real shifter.

I don't have a part number but they should know what you're talking about if you say 110 mm at the bike store

Well rroland, if I had the version you have it would have been a different story :) And how I wish they had made sure that the reducer would have been centered on the bike...

I changed the chain wheel to a 50t this weekend. Since the cassette was worn I took the opportunity to change that to a 9 gear at the same time. It fits on the same body as the 8 gear cassette since its the same width. However there are some issues where the biggest one is that the chain tends...

If you happen to be in Gävle, check with Posacyckel, I bought one there last week. It should be 110 mm, same as BMX and the new racing standard. If you have the same as me it's a pain in the a** to change it though. Get a gear puller and 2 M4x50 bolts before you begin. To get the things back...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Well, I thought I had the answer to getting this device to report accurate data and syncing ok. Today I'm proven wrong. I still get data that is not correct, even though GPS is turned off. While syncing it doesn't complain at all and then reports sync successful. I could have lived with the...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Well, first I'm totally hooked on my smart phone, I admit... However... That is not what goes onto my bike, it's a cheap Internet connected android device which I got for almost no money at all, or as in the case with the htc desire... Free:) It's a very nice speedo you got there...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Well, this was rather interesting... I thought mine were the only ones doing this. So, now... Does anyone have this feature working? Maybe some kind of bug otherwise

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

I did some tests yesterday anyway, it seems that it is actually the GPS that is somehow interfering with the transfer of files. If I turn it off I can easily sync the data from 2 m away. If I turn it back on again it's back to no sync unless closer than 10 cm. Very strange behavior indeed... I...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Well, I see that I need to clarify things a little... The speedict in my bike now is the third one... Which has always worked to some extent at least. First Speedict, bricked by FW upgrade on my desk. Second Speedict, died for no apparent reason while on the bike. Third Speedict (lite version)...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Thanks for your input guys I don't know if this is related to anything else but I got a new version that would solve some national settings bug - In Sweden we don't have decimal point but comma instead. On recommendation from Danny I have turned the GPS off and now, all of a sudden most things...

This little orange Mercury.... I'm having issues so I'd like to hear from you guys, how many of you have no issues at all with this little beast? And if you do have issues, what are they? Here's whats happened to mine, in short.... It's very difficult to analyze what is going on, is there a HW...

Well, the installation of the Speedict Mercury goes forward... I got my crimper the other day and decided to try connecting the stock speedometer sensor on the Tonaro to the Speedict - works well. However, the cable from the speedometer has a 2 pin JST SM connector and the Mercury comes with 3...

Mine did exactly the same thing... Died for no apparent reason. Only red led and no connection to the phone. I have it now in a package on its way to Danny... Are you Swedish by the way? /Anders

Just an update on the Speedict Mercury installation... I got one, tried to update the FW on it - It got bricked. Danny at Speedict sent me two new Mercurys and I installed one in the bike. No sensors connected. I had all kinds of strange Bluetooth related issues where I mainly couldn't download...

Did you get the Speedict yet? I probably bricked mine while still on my desk by upgrading the FW. It should not be possible with the 1.0.6 client according to Danny but it happened anyway. So be careful.... I never even got to mount it on the bike.... /Anders
