Are the on offwires the small red and green ones that come out of the controller side of the pas wires? Looking at the wiring diagram it looks like there's a designated wire for the on off, but the only unaccounted for I see are a small red and green coming out of the backside of the pas...

this is my commuter bike. 27km to work, so I ride it about 50km a day in the summer. had my bike charged as I was planning some mods for this upcoming season so I went with a buddy and we took some photos at a carpark for fun when no one was around. machining up an adaptor so I can replace the...

its open to the air, but under the seat so it probably doesnt get a ton of airflow. still, I thought being open to the air would be enough. looks like i might have to start looking at thermal pastes and cooling fins

Going to have to look at cooling my mini e down. Last 2 days it's been 33 Celsius and on some of the hills on the way home the controller heats up pretty quick. Gets up to 70 then cuts power. 2 or 3 times now I've had to find a shady spot and wait for it to cool

sounds good allex. thanks for the heads up. I've been meaning to spend some dedicated time to tuning. just wanted to hear whats possible. sounds like i have some work to do. when ive been on the stand ive had speeds up to 100-105kph, but under load with me riding on the flats its only around 55-58

interesting. I had been limiting my amps to 65 because it was a 65amp controller (mini-e), and same for my phase amps at 140-150, because i had seen that number mentioned. I noticed that technically I can dial higher than that. should i just try and crank phase amps as high as i can go and...

mini-e question for those of you with mini-e. on level ground, full throttle gets me about 55kph (34mph) on a downhill with full throttle I can get maybe 65-68kph (41mph) this is with the controller set to 65amps 150 phase amps ovs to 3 pwr to 1.5 battery is a 20s 18650 pack that charges to...

    E-S Phasor Electric Bike Owners

the seat is made of wood with some steel rods for where it attaches to the bike seat post. I wrapped it in foam, then stapled nylon around that. I also build the rear light that kind of tucks up under the seat. at the far frontal portion of the seat, I drilled a hole in the seat and a...

allex, I do have a cromotor but havent found settings that gives me good off the line power. once it gets to 10-15kph it gets a little life and feels like it pulls a bit better.

yeah i think ive come to the conclusion i need a max-e a dangerous proposition, as my current battery just gets me home from work (30km) haha im gonna cut that in half with that kind of power at my hands. :P

all i want is more torque. I spend all kind of time thinking about how to tweak my mini-e to get better off the line speed. my top speed still only hits 55kph on flats and 70kph on downhills but how fast it gets there seems a shame. never really seems to pickup until after 15kph. need to...

you'll want to put balancing below max cell voltage. if max is 4.1 and balance is 4.1 it probably wont kick in. mine is max cell voltage 4.12 balance voltage at 4.06 this way at you approach the top the balancing kicks in

yeah on the bench mine went from 80kph to 112kph, so a pretty big increase. I'll play with the pwr timing and see what that does. what was your method for tweaking it?

after playing with some settings and running another autodetect the top speed seems much higher, but i still have to test under load (on the stand the speeds are higher, but havent had a chance to get outside yet) motor seems much snappier, hoping this will have put a bit more juice into the...

does the max-e suffer less from overheating? on my mini, even a few blocks from home my mosfet temps are 65-68 and it seems to rob a bit of power from the bike (bike seems to bog down) this is putting about 2000w through the bike. very slight incline. are there settings i can play with to try...

Phasor with a lot of custom work.

yeah sorry beast, got a little spammy with this once i finished it. seat built was easier than I thought because of the materials i used. its kind of my prototype so i built it of wood. wrapped in foam from the foam store, then covered in a nylon i got from a fabric store. I'll find time to...
