    World's most efficient wind turbine?

https://flowerturbines.com/ https://youtu.be/IivHyVao7os Delivers power at 1.2 m/s They have raised more than $7 million till date. Just wondering, what are your thoughts? Earlier I shared Ducted wind turbine video from Winergy https://youtu.be/fLXyD3haLRM, which claimed they produce power at...

    World's most efficient wind turbine?

Surely, they aren't cheap but they can produce more energy at lower wind speeds, which in terms of output are better than not getting any energy at all. The key is to get power when when speeds are lower.

    World's most efficient wind turbine?

In video, OP shows results, are those fake?

    World's most efficient wind turbine?

I was hoping for comments from people, who have actually built real world windmills and have experience / understands windmills & engineering behind it. OP have shown results with prototype and I don't think it is virtual.

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

I found one such RipRap's picture and there are many in existence built by some real Civil engineering firms. See this pic and tell them they are stupid and it doesn't work and laugh at them.

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

I think there is some misunderstanding in our discussion. Let me try another way. In a flowing river water, If I insert a Steel Pole of 12 inch wide (EYE BEAM) about 12 ft deep and leave 8 ft on top, would that Pole bend because of flowing water? [consider that river bed is reasonably Hard or...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Anyway to get picture of this structure? May be people who don't believe will have some sort of proof of it. The sand and rock just help to reduce the erosion but they don't support the piles. I think it is cheaper to build if we consider the amount of material transported on the site from...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Your conclusion is based on existing knowledge you have. But let me tell you how Air, Liquid and Solids work differently. Throw 100 ton Solid block on electric Pole. It will act exactly according to your theory and you are right. If the pole can't withstand against the force exerted by that...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

This is good for micro scale generation but needs always flowing water. Very Good for people who live near it.

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

The video claims it and that's what is mentioned in the video, but which experiment you suggest to prove it false? I can perform it, if its so quick.

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

"If you have a wall X meters long, and it will have to withstand Y height of water, the amount of force each section of wall has to withstand is exactly the same when summed over the entire wall." ONLY If it is continuous wall, without sections. When the wall is divided into sections, this...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

They mention it as portable and costs less than existing methods. Imagine the transportation cost of transferring the gravel to build the lagoon vs using pre fabricated piles, which are 100 times smaller in volume and weight.

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Well, here is another experiment. Place a pressure measuring device in a tank on side wall at the bottom. Measure the pressure or force at that point. Pressure is constant all across the wall in that horizontal line. Let's say pressure you measure was 1000 pascal. So lets say the wall is 100...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Thames wall / implementation proves the same thing mentioned in the video. Check the actual thickness of the moving barrier at the bottom, it is very very thin, that means you can have thin member all the way up and it will still hold the water e.g. think of vertical column or panel or sluice...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

No, I'm not Civil engineer, but I know Engineers are those people, who can accurately learn and repeat the things invented by non-engineers. Sometimes they are unable to think outside the box, because that was not taught to them while getting that degree. So I'd like to know what is the issue...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

That design don't need that thick wall. That's the principle of design. Divide and Conquer kind of philosophy. If it is continuous wall, then your statement is valid. If you partition wall, the forces are not propagated along its length, that's the point of that design. You see a unit area of...

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Can't that pile wall be designed thick enough to withstand against the load?

Generating Power 24/7 by using Tides

Would love to know your expert opinions about this proposed power generation technique as Tidal power plants are already successful in some countries. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dcGU7eBcTw

World's most efficient and aerodynamic car

Is there a way we can simulate it easily? Or you have the ability to do it with all factors included?

World's most efficient and aerodynamic car

I actually see more cargo space than what other cars have and the cabin space is adjustable too, so we still get same cabin space, if required. But my point of discussion is about efficiency and not the size as if you see Smart Car from https://www.smartusa.com only cramps 2 people in it and...

World's most efficient and aerodynamic car

That's what the company is claiming. Does that mean they are better than Tesla, BYD, Faraday Future, Lucid Motors, Byton, BMW, Fisker, Mercedes, Nissan, Toyota and all other companies? I wonder how much efficiency you can improve, if you have the design as shown in the video...

Coaxial-BB-Jackshaft Middrive with TGY Rotomax 80cc Build

I found this very detailed and interesting page, which explains different types of stator windings. http://www.thebackshed.com/Windmill/FPRewire.asp Now the question is which one resembles to the Rotomax?
