    It's commonly said that VESC shouldn't be run on 10-12S with motors above 200KV, probably that's also why drv chip died.

    That's really nice to see that I inspired someone! Although, unfortunately VESC didn't work out for me quite well, drv8302 kept failing and I changed ESCs to maytech 120A, they're making my board a BEAST!

    Get solder wick to remove excessive solder with Your soldering iron, don't do anything unless You deal with shorted pins. Just put solder wick on pins of drv and processor and gently drag solder iron, there are plenty tutorials on YT. Good luck!

    APS is generally flier ESC, this maytech one looks like ESC that dexter (torqueboards) is selling, with alu case and in sensored variant. I'll go with maytech.

He took care of my burned one and I recently send him another VESC this time with probably DRV chip failure (probably caused by FOC)...

    Always one step ahead of everybody else :P I had such thoughts during my build, but wanted to use VESC, and it wouldn't deliever enough amps and volts to get everything out of 80-100 beast motor... Why didn't You go with longer motors, even more power... :twisted: ?
