    I have a 48v 12ah lifepo4 pack. It has BMS and I want to connect it to another one. So if I am correct I need another 48v lifepo4 pack with the same cell count. But does the ah rating matter? Problem is my pack cuts out at 15a and I want more power. Should have bought a better battery to begin...

    at small incline the bike starts but stops in 3 seconds.

    I am new to all this stuff. And I'm not the smartest person on earth to begin with. I've had some issues with my diy setup. All the issues with the cutting of power were because there was not enough power. If it only cuts out with weight on it then I guess its not enough power.

    What I had bought is a cheap 12ah lifepo4 pack. The battery can run it on 1/2 power. Any more and it shuts off and I gotta turn it off and on to work again. If I run it on pedal assist its fine. But I'd like to be able to just twist the throttle uphill and not die or damage the battery. So now...

    So I am new to all this ebike stuff. I'm good with mechanics but not so much with wiring. I got a 48v 1000w bike kit off eBay and then got a 12ah lipo pack. I thought it was all gonna work perfect. And it does.....on pedal assist mode 1. But the controler draws around 40a and full throttle...
