Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Hello guys, I am possibly one of those who is driving Adaptto controller with MXUS 3000 V3 4T motor in sub-optimal way. I would like to fix it :) I tried to fine-tune settings little bit after autodetection, but motor is still getting hot very fast for my taste (I use FF) and also torque at...

    Norco A-Line 2009 + MXUS 3000 V3 Build

Hi Racer ! Sorry for my late response, I wasn't here for a while. Yes, original dropouts looked like the ones on the picture you linked :) I found some guy in my country who was kind enough to do laser measurements of original dropouts and create digital model from it. I than re-modeled it...

    Norco A-Line 2009 + MXUS 3000 V3 Build

Hello guys, few months ago I finished my second build: e-bike based on Norco A-Line 2009 frame. Specs: - MXUS 3000 V3 4T motor - Adaptto Midi-E controller - 18s MultiStar (16 Ah) lipo battery (3 packs in seriers) - Custom CNCed dropouts (steel, 15mm width, 1 kg weight for both pieces) - Geared...

    Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Hello guys, I have question regarding the regen braking. I have Midi-E with MXUS 3000 V3. Everything works fine :) I am using variable regen braking (not active !) and it has really nice stopping power at speeds around 20-30 km.h-1, but at higher speeds > 40 km.h-1 stopping power is at first...

    High powered kickibike build

I'll try to summarize issues I had with my setup: 1) At first, I was using 12 FET Lyen. I was impressed with its ability to accelerate vehicle, but it really was not controllable smoothly during acceleration and at low speeds. Even slightest increase to throttle resulted in strong pull from...

    High powered kickibike build

I did some upgrades in last few weeks: - Bought new (second hand) Marzocchi 888 RC3 fork. This fork has very nice and smooth suspension action. Previous one had no suspension action at all. It was complete garbage - stay away from it ! (Zoom 650DH) - New fork was white, so I changed color of...

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

After lot of searching I finally decided & bought Adaptto Midi-E (8 kW). After testing it on my electric kickbike, I can say it is worth the money :) Their torque based throttle control is exactly what I looked for: precise & smooth. Also, while enjoying ride with this controller I'll start...

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

I have seen Lebowski controller being mentioned on local forums a lot. However I did not look into it yet. I cannot design + create PCB board, but if there exists pre-made PCBs, I think I'll be able to put it together and make it work :) Also, if I'll be able to tinker with software which is...

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

However I still have hard time finding non-chinese powerfull enough controllers except Adaptto. Will keep searching.

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

Thanks for clarifying this John ! I noticed that aforementioned limits are in 'nominal' voltage in other forum posts / controller manuals, but I still find some parts of documentation confusing :) On the other side: do you guys have any tips for approx 6-8 kW controllers with torque throttle...

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

Thanks ! I was confused by : "KLS6018S,24V-60V,240A,SINUSOIDAL BRUSHLESS MOTOR CONTROLLER" Why they specify voltage range 24-60V ?

    Modern, compact and powerfull controller

Hello guys, I managed to somehow corrupt my 12 FET Lyen controller by doing 6 kW bursts on hot day. Now I am looking for controller which is: - reasonable powerfull (take 6-7kw bursts without any issue) - has nice and smooth throttle delivery (this is important :) ) - has compact package (the...

    High powered kickibike build

Have some progress on cooling. I tried to do fans inside motor mod and it is major success ! :) I put 5 12V fans in series to motor, oriented in such way that one side sucks air and other exhaust it. No fancy attempts to seal air going possibly around the fans. I keep fans running all the time...

    High powered kickibike build

I already attempted to create torque plate you described. However I had no prior experience with cutting steel, so result was not disaster but not exactly satisfactory :) Also, I am not sure if I'll be able to create two exactly same pieces. I am looking around local workshops if they can create...

    High powered kickibike build

I already removed back wheel for inspection, but it was mounted like this: Next torque plates (probably welded directly frame) will be 10-12 mm thick. Should last for eternity I hope :)

    High powered kickibike build

Yes, I am going to tame it somehow, at least before I get used to it. The three speed switch sounds good, thanks for bringing it up ! I didn't perform exact temperatures monitoring yet, but as it is now, it is kind of show stopper. I tried to 'climb' about 2 km long hill of very mild slope...
